This is my new favorite takeout restaurant in Portsmouth. My husband got the lamb curry and I got the butter chicken. Each meal was especially flavorful and the curries in each dish were different, which is very important to me. Other restaurants in the area seem to use the same curry for every dish. Delicious food and I appreciated the curbside delivery!
We did our first take away order from Taaza today and it won’t be our last. The food is delicious and well prepared and just a little bit different from the usual Indian cuisine. We could order online which was convenient. I believe it was the owner, a very nice gentleman, who brought our food out to our car curbside. Try Taaza, you will enjoy it!
Taaza Takeout is an excellent Indian restaurant with a limited but very good selection at reasonable prices. They offer flavorful dishes that can accommodate different spice levels. The mango smoothies made with yogurt are a must-try. The Chicken Vindaloo, garlic naan, chicken tikka Marsala, and butter chicken are all delicious options. The clean sitting area provides a nice eating-in option.
