I found The Golden Egg early one morning as I was in the area for the sun rise and TGE was one of the only places open at 6am. And I am GLAD they were because from the moment we walked in it was just the goodest welcoming atmosphere and the waitstaff immediately greeted us and BOOM we were seated. Have been in Portsmouth for a week and gone here 3 times already. Really good food, service & a cute place. Easy to find, plenty of parking. Nice sized place. The wait staff is excellent.
