Really nice ambience, exposed brick walls, intimate. Food was very good. I had the prix fix meal for diners week. The crab cakes were very tasty, and I had a dish with shrimp and scallops. The seafood was cooked perfectly. Good service as well, not obtrusive, but attentitive. I would go back.
Stopped in for a late lunch and drinks, and it was an excellent choice! The bartender Lily was really helpful and fun to talk to, and helped us pick the right oysters. Lovely unique interior with exposed stone foundation. Take your date here! Take your mom here!
Excellent experience at The Oar House to celebrate my birthday! Food was delicious and our server, Eva, was attentive and friendly. Our favorite item of the night was the mussels; they come with chorizo, roasted corn, and a broth so good I wanted to drink the whole bowl (also a very generous portion!). The clam chowder was yummy, but would have liked to see more clams. For entrees we had the Oar House delight (seafood baked with a lobster sherry sauce) and the potato crusted haddock....
