Excellent restaurant! The crispy Brussel sprouts were the best ever. Our steak and lamb chops were perfectly prepared. Great wine choices by glass and bottle. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended !
Perfect night to celebrate our anniversary. Our server was excellent. Try the crispy sprouts! We sat at a quiet table outside and the view of tie clock tower was breathtaking.
Great service and the mussels are outstanding! Noise level was a little too loud. It was hard to hear everyone at the table.
Excellent service. The waitress, Chloe, was extremely professional and went above and beyond. Even asked the kitchen to recreate a dish that I wanted that was on the old menu, and they obliged. The third time there, I will definitely go back again.
The bar is awesome! Service was great. We had pork chop and 1/2 chicken. Very, very tasty! Cheesecake for dessert was good, I would ask for more blueberry sauce. Best cappuccino I have had! We would definitely go back.
Ambiance is great. Has the feeling of the high end steakhouse as you would expect. Cocktails were great and our server was awesome. So glad I made reservations since the place was packed by 6. The hostess was very friendly and inviting. What a wonderful experience in downtown Portsmouth!
We arrived for our reservation early so we took seats at the bar instead. It was quiet and the bartenders were very welcoming. We moved to seat closer to the door because of the afternoon sun, which could have been a mistake as the area in front of the hostess stand gets very crowded and incoming patrons have no place to stand so we kept getting bumped while trying to eat. I had the grilled swordfish which was somewhat disappointing. The gremolata was very tasty but the fish was under seasoned and bland. My BF had the brandt ribeye which was very fatty and lacking - have had better elsewhere. Overall the experience was just okay. We probably wouldn't revisit.
I've e been dying for a good steak for a while and I was not disappointed like I have been at other restaurants! The petite fillet was perfect and it was accompanied by yummy creamy polenta with fresh corn. Our server Chris (or Fritz) was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu; especially for me since I'm gluten intolerant. We had a wonderful dinner and a fabulous dessert.
My family and I had an outstanding experience at this restaurant. The food was divine; the waiter was personable and helpful and very knowledgeable about the menu. Yes, it could be considered a little loud, but we actually enjoyed hearing what other people around us were saying about the food. And let's not forget my complimentary dessert for my birthday. This is an experience you don't want to skip on your next trip to Portsmouth!!
The music volume and selection was absolutely deafening. We could not even hear each other talk. Really unfortunate because the service was fabulous. Our waiter Steve was great - very personable and prompt! And the food was very good as well but we would think twice about returning because of the ambience.

The place is beautiful and the service at the bar was outstanding. The food was average and very expensive.
This is by far the most amazing restaurant in the area. Upscale so we only visit on birthday and anniversaries and it is always the highlight. The food is top notch and the staff makes it seem like you are their only patron. 10 out of 10 on everything!
Both my husband and I were disappointed. From a 1-10 rating we would give it a 6. I ordered the reconfigured Aglio Olio with fusilli. It stated it was made with Pecorino cheese. Somehow I do think that missed the pecorino. No tell tail signs of any cheese in the preparation. Although I did ask for it "not too spicy" , I did have to ask for some chili flakes. The dish was fair at best and I was very disappointed. A major ingredient was missing. Hello! My husband had the petite filet which was tender and tasty but looked as if it was a filet cut in half. Looked quite weird and not so appetizing. It was tasty. This place is off our list. It was disappointing.
Loud inside but a friendly staff with good bartenders, hosts, and waiters. Cocktails were inspired (pamplemousse foam on my Paloma, don't mind if I do!). Lovely snacky size charcuterie. Petite filet was very good, perfectly cooked and the right size. Bolognese was good, too. Wine list is admirable. Prices are what you'd expect. We would happily go back.
Incredibly loud, luckily they had outside seating so we opted for that. Otherwise you could barely hear yourself think. Service was incredibly slow, our meals came barely luke warm, and we sent back. The crispy calamari was soft and rubbery. Very expensive and very disappointing. 100% will not go back.
