Arriving we were met with friendly smiling hosts. We were offered inside or out but decided we didn’t need to wait for out when we could sit in the lounge which was basically open air (the wall opens onto the deck). Beautiful view of the river and tugs. Our waitress Mikayla (sp?) was super sweet and attentive. We never waited for a drink refill or to order more food. She was knowledgeable about the menu both food and drink. The food was amazing. Highly recommend the fish and chips and we ate our weight in oysters. Ten out of ten recommend ✌🏻❤️

I contacted the Waterview Grill to make reservations for dinner for my 25th Wedding Anniversary. I spoke with Madison and asked if I could drop off flowers and a gift so it could be on the table when we arrived for dinner. she was wonderful and set it up so I met Sam the next day before they opened. she let me in and even allowed me to pick the table for dinner. when we arrived the Hostess greeted us with a Hapoy Anniversary Greeting after we gave her our name. when we got to the table not only were the flowers and gift sitting on the table, but also a wonderful handmade Happy 25th Anniversary card. The service was incredible and our server Elisha was Great. The meal was absolutely out of this world. The steak was cooked perfect and the lobster was wonderful. The overall experience was perfect and really made our Anniversary very special. Thank you to the Waterview Grill and all it's staff for a Wonderful Evening.

Stopped here on the way through New England. My hubby literally googled best lobster rolls and we took the suggestion. It did not disappoint at all! Deserved every bit of the 5 stars I gave it! We were greeted warmly and taken to a seat for 2 with a beautiful view. Our waitress was attentive and personable. Our drinks were amazing. I had the spiced pear martini and hubby had the blackberry bourbon smash. We both had the butter poached lobster rolls, omgoodness delectable. We ended the dinner with an amazing autumn spiced creme brulee that we shared. We most certainly will be stopping back there on our next visit.

Wow! Awesome location on the waterfront. Excellent service. And the lobster ravioli special was incredible. I travel a lot and eat out all the time. I’m getting used to average food at average restaurants. This is the best that I can remember from the last few years, from coast to coast

I was looking for a place to eat Saturday for lunch and came upon this place walking on Bow Street. I was greeted by a friendly host outside who seated my friend and I promptly inside. Very busy inside the restaurant and after finishing my meal I understood why. Great food and amazing service. This place is truly doing it right. Will be back again.

Looking for a quick meal on a Friday night I could observe seats ? at the bar ? through the window. As soon ? as I sat down I was greeted and the bar started to fill up with other customers!
I had a Spicy Ginger Fizz for my drink, a Chicken Caprese Sandwich ? with fries for my meal and an Autumn ? Creme Brulee for dessert. The caprese was a little messy when eating but everything tasted good.
Service was good and I had a very short wait for my food and drink. Only the customer's conversations were loud ?. Country music ? played continuously. Mood lighting was about how bright ? it was in there.
The lounge is part of the grill and there is still the water ? view ? with plastic set up around the outdoor area.
I had a good ? time and I recommend a visit!

My family and I stopped in for lunch while visiting Portsmouth and had an amazing meal! The lobster bisque is the BEST we’ve ever had (and we get it just about every seafood restaurant we go to). We’ve also had our share of lobster rolls, and the butter poached lobster roll we had was phenomenal! Our girls also loved the seafood chowder. The service was wonderfully friendly, and the entire atmosphere was fantastic. I highly recommend stopping in for a meal!

The lobster was incredible! No butter needed. The service was incredible. My husband had salmon and it was okay but not great. They were sold out of the Blueberry dessert so we went for the pineapple cake which Sadly was a miss. It was just thick cake with a thin slice of pineapple baked.

The view off the deck was the best way to start out a mom date night! Our cocktails were delicious, even meeting a personal modification to a personal favorite! The seafood was cooked perfectly, and everything had amazing flavors! And I will definitely be back to visit my favorite waitress, Elisha!

Our first time pit stopping in Portsmouth ... what a quaint area.. shops and lovely streets.. we looked for good lobster on Google reviews and found this place... it was amazing! We had the Lobster Bisque, Lobster Roll ( with GF roll -very good!)and Fried Haddock Sandwich. All very tasty and fresh tasting lobster! Service was excellent! Sitting on the edge of the water.. and we added a Blueberry Bread Pudding to go.. best we have ever had!!
