Renée the manager does an outstanding job always accommodating us in any way possible we made a reservation for four and we called ahead to see if we could make it for six and she made it so easy for us to bring six people, And the specialty drink for New Year's Eve was called the ball drop. They were fantastic. Nobody else has anything like that great place to be because they're always doing something different.
Staff great. Unfortunately the pork tenderloin was badly overcooked. The scallops however were very good
Best shrimp scampi in ever had. The infusion of sun dried tomatoes made it better than great.
Some of the most expensive, bad food you can get at a restaurant! The fresh oysters were not fresh, not even clear they didn’t come from a can, the calamari was so salty and greasy that it was hard to eat. The scallops again were so very salty that I could not eat them. Service was marginal. Save your money and eat at one of the excellent restaurants found in Portsmouth.
Top notch menu options, enough variations for all tastes. High quality food, service, will repeat.
We were a party of 5. Everyone commented on what a wonderful experience it was. From our Hostess Brittany to our server Allison C. everything was perfect. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food excellent. Definitely will return.
Always wanted to stop in and try Atlantic Grill as driven past many times. For a family of 4 adults I would say it was a bit on the pricey side. However, the food and service was great! We did not realize it was restaurant week in the area; two of us took advantage of the menu available for that and were pleased with their meals also. Atmosphere was a bit noisy - we were seated by the fireplace area and it was a 6pm reservation - so probably when the resturant would be busiest. Anyone hard of hearing would probably have a hard time talking to companions. Just something to be aware of. I do believe that had another seating area also away from the bar and fireplace which may be quieter.
My friend and I had the lunch restaurant week menu. It was a three course brunch and we were both extremely satisfied. The portions were good sized and delicious! We were thrilled that Mimosas were included in the first course at no extra charge. My friend had the haddock piccata. I can't spell my meal, but it was the poached egg with sausage in pomodoro sauce served in a cast iron skillet. Our desserts were maple bread pudding and Bailey's tiramisu. To um up in one word: YUMMY! In addition, our server was excellent! We enjoyed our visit to Atlantic Grill very much!

Table was ready at our reserved time on Saturday. Service was outstanding. Perfect size menu. We all had drinks, apps, seafood and desserts. All was outstanding. I'm sure there are other nice restaurants but since we first dined here and everything was perfect, there's no need to go anywhere else!
Always great food and amazing friendly staff.
I had braised short ribs which was delicious melt in your mouth. My husband had Pappadelle with short ribs and he loved it. We shared a salad which was fresh and nicely dressed. Great Sunday dinner
Amazing oysters... Halibut and lobster risotto was delicious... Pistachio martini for desert sealed the deal!!! I'm going back again soon
Service was really terrible - slow and for some reason the waitress had a low level hostility towards the table - unknown why. I'm not sure what the beef tenderloin was glued together from but it was an odd texture and color - drinks didn't arrive and side choices were all wrong - but not worth risking the ire of the waitress by mentioning anything.
