Good Food Upscale Ambience.

The food was solidly good, however nothing compelling enough to crave. The staff was very attentive and nice. Unfortunately, it was really loud. I would not go if you want a romantic or high-end feel. There are many better restaurants around the seacoast, but it wasn't bad by any stretch.

Been driving by The Atlantic Grill for years and finally decided to give it a try. I will start with the positives. Cleanliness 10/10. Service 10/10. Atmosphere 8/10…dinging them here because seeing the bar TV’s from the dining room in a restaurant that seemingly wants to be higher end, was a turn off. Food 5/10. Like another reviewer mentioned, the chowder was the best thing we had, and we would go back just for that. I ordered 2 of the sushi rolls…and I should have known better. Sushi is really only good from a Japanese restaurant. This was reminiscent of grocery store sushi. My husband had the fish and chips. Unfortunately, the portion was very small, especially for a $30 entree. The 2 tablespoons of Cole slaw was flavorless and the meager cup of French fries were of the frozen variety, disappointing to say the least. Homemade fries aren’t hard. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but for the price there’s a lot of room for improvement.

Food was excellent except for the coffee which was barely lukewarm. We went for brunch so the coffee should have been hot. Service was very slow. We were with my 92 year old MIL and she kept saying - wow the food sure is taking a long time.

Raw bar was good as always. Main entrees were okay. Cocktails were perfect. It seemed like sauces were overpowering, but just a personal preference to not mask food. Scallop entrée was pricey for amount given, no issue paying for product, but portion seemed very small and looked lost next to vegetables. We normally come just for raw bar and went off script this time and dined off of main menu It's not likely we would do that again.

Never disappoints. Whether it's my go-to Salmon with Miso Chili Glaze or the classic Burger - the meal always hits the spot. Love to see the same smiling waitstaff all the time.

The food was disappointing. Haddock sandwiches were mushy and had no flavor. Winter salad had a lot of kale greens but stingy with squash, beets and goat cheese. Won't be back

One of our entrees was not up to snuff. For which we were not charged and we were provided with a complimentary dessert. We are long time customers and certainly will not let this minor hiccup deter us from returning. It was out of character but it did happen.

Pork chops were dry and very overcooked. Strip steak was a flavorful steak , but was cooked medium (+) instead of med rare which is how it was ordered. We asked the hostess to bring a slice of cake for our friends 88th bday , she responded she would , but nothing was brought out. We really liked the atmosphere and layout of the restaurant.

Ordered halibut but it tasted like haddock. Not a big deal except for the price difference halibut is a lot more expensive.Have had halibut there numerous times and it always was a thick piece of fish. This was real thin and did not taste like halibut and waitress did not offer to fix the issue. Chicken in the salad tasted like a cutlet which it never was in the past. Overall highly disappointed as normally the food is quite good. May stay away for a while until they get their act together.

Months ago we went and had a charcuterie board, and it was amazing, and quite sizable. Tonight when we went, we ordered a charcuterie board and it was less than half the size of the last time we were there, had one piece of cheese on it. Five slices of apples when I say slices, I’m talking about a sliver, maybe about an eighth of an apple. A little bit of fig jam a little thing of peanuts five crackersand a few pieces of prosciutto. Definitely not worth the money. The seafood. Combination plate had one scallop in it, a couple, shrimp and a few clams, good, definitely not worth the price. Overall, we are rather disappointed with our dining experience tonight. There were four of us for dinner, we had water, and our bill was $185. My husband and son are going home to eat some food because there was so little on their plates.
