Loved this experience! The ambiance upstairs was perfect and the cocktails were unique and delicious. The food was fantastic and I highly recommend the scallops. A dessert drink finished my night and I would highly recommend this for a date night dinner!

An outstanding dining experience. After reading other reviews, we decided to give it a try. We had a reservation but arrived early. Not a problem. The host greeted us with a friendly smile and sat us at a table next to the window overlooking the ocean. Our waitress made excellent recommendations as well as specials that were not on the menu. The food was outstanding. The service was wonderful. I never write reviews but this is one I could not help. By all means, try this gem of a restaurant.

Every time we visit the Carriage House, my daughter and I have the most enjoyable dinner We always try something new and different, and have never been disappointed. The service is impeccable and the staff always makes us feel special. My favorite restaurant, by far And our treat to ourselves when she comes to visit

Wow wow wow! Came here for our anniversary and boy are we glad we did. The parking was pretty good and the weather was horrible due to the fact that it was raining hard and no sun or moon but that didn't stop us from making our reservations on this spot. Once parked and walked inside we were greeted and seated for our reservations. We started off with raw oysters from all over the east coast and a coupe of shrimps. Next we had this olive dish that was stuff with meat. Each olive had meat inside and was fried to perfection. For our entrees, I order the Duck Confit Gratin and it was very good. The Duck was moist and not dry and everything went well with the dish. My other half ordered the Gulf of Maine Fluke and I'm not a fish eater unless it's raw but I gave it a try and it tasted good. For dessert I ordered the Fennel Almond Torte and it consists of mascarpone ice cream, candied fennel, crème anglaise, almond crumble. It was amazing and I wanted more but was too full. I highly recommend this place for an anniversary dinner or a romantic dinner.

It's always a pleasure to visit this incredible establishment. RJ and James always greet all of their guests positively and ensure we always have a perfect experience. The food, drinks and atmosphere (not to mention view of the Atlantic) is always incredible as well!

Duck confit was phenomenal and the white fish pate was excellent. With wonderful service to boot, I highly recommend this place. My husband and I had a great dinner here last night.

Promptly seated, server Heather personable and friendly. Appetizer mushroom toast was so tough it couldn't be eaten,,,sent back and replaced with equally tough bread. Fried olives delicious,pollock piccata delicious. Chicken/duck sausage was odd and I couldn't distinguish the two meat with sauce. It was just fair. Our friends lamp shank and octopus were without comment.
This was our first visit to the Carriage House. We rated it as one of the top 5 dinners we have ever had. The fish and scallops were cooked to perfection and the sides were just as delicious. Make sure to reserve a table and try one of their excellent specialty cocktails.

Visiting from Seattle every few months I make it a point to stop here - the Hangar Steak is the best I've had anywhere in the world. Never had a disappointing dish or experience - such a treat to find a wonderful meal and experience each time. The wine list is full of quality gems that don't disappoint.
