Fantastic dive restaurant! Please know that I mean dive as in unpretentious, with a focus on good food, drinks, and atmosphere rather than fancy decor or high prices.
The first thing that struck me was how friendly and personal the waiters were. My family felt very welcome.
Next up is the menu: It's a short Mexican style menu with tacos, bowls, plantains, smoothies, and other fare. The food was very tasty, and the cocktails and mocktails were great. We sat outside at a picnic table for dinner, but they also had indoor seating and proper tables outside too.
We will definitely be back the next time we're on the coast.

A little slice of Key West right here in New Hampshire! The Kooks Beach bar has an inviting, laid-back vibe that instantly put me at ease. Ice-cold beer, friendly staff, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere made for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and soak up some good vibes and friendly staff.

Went last night for the live Dj and got the tacos. Lone behold not even 20 min later I was violently defecated for 6 hrs. Not only that everyone was over served. Will not be going back

Food was gross. Clearly store bought premade junk. Frozen avocado chunks in the guac and bland dry chicken. Seems cool from the outside but the food is awful.

I was there last week for breakfast and then hit the bar the next night. Great breakfast sandwich, and the rum drink was awesome. And I live in FL so I now a thing or two about rum/beach drinks. Highly recommends!

Kooks Beach Cafe is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the laid-back, welcoming atmosphere instantly puts you at ease. Ignore the previous reviewer, this place is amazing! I don’t know what they season the shrimp with, but it’s actually so good. Açaí bowls are Pinterest worthy and delicious! Very clean, staff are so nice and helpful, food is very fresh, they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions as a lactose intolerant diner. If you actually read the menu, you’d see it says nothing about quesadillas.
Food is gonna be a no from me.
