This by far is the best place to go in the area for a meal they in my view are top rank because of how clean they keep the restaurant it is never short staffed and they are friendly I love the burger and fries here I don't eat any seafood but I do love what I've tried from here never one thing has gone wrong for my here

Food - chewy, overcooked, didn’t even get the Caesar salad we ordered - would’ve asked if we could find the server or she checked in. Left without any drink refills for the entire meal. She tried to charge me the adult meal for kids fish and chips for my 9 YO and laughed when I asked if the chips were fries because my kids meal was “fish and chips” but 2 below on the menu is “shrimp and fries” so I wasn’t sure if they literallyMeant chips seeing as they were displayed differently in 2 different spots. I understood chips typically meant fries. Scallops and lobster tail were rubbery like a tire, could barely cut them. Gave Leftovers to my dog and he even spit it out. Atmosphere-mostly elderly, view of dumpster and truck.

Surprised I had never been here before since this place has a great New England charm. Known for great chowder, we also tried the lobster roll and fish sandwich. Both were great and how they do the lobster roll with a reg bun was a pleasant surprise. Service was super.

Absolutely the best fried clams around north south east and west. It's worth the wait parking is limited but you can park on the street on one side excellent lobster roll and refreshments.

Chowder was excellent, waitress perfect.Update 3/28/24: chowder was so good last time, ordered a medium instead of a small. Fish incredibly fresh. Serrvice was without fault~

The Best Seafood, Lobster roll and Clam Chowder etc. Best place to eat along the beach. Mine and my Grandson's favorite
staffs are rude. You’re not welcomed when you walk in waiting for table. My boyfriend and I approached the host stand and told them we were a party of 4. Young red head hostess (she looks like a teenage girl) showed up and said Hi- but didn't indicate she hosting- or say “how we can help you?” She’s probably just inexperienced. Confused -I told her we were a party of 4- she looked at us funny. And said everyone needed to be present now to get a table -which was fine. I told her the other 2 people were coming from the parking lot in a mater of a minute. They are elderly so they don’t walk fast. I was trying to secure a table for them.I kid you not the redhead gave away OUR last table while I was waiting for my elderly family members to walk in through the door in a matter of seconds. She could not have waited 2 seconds for them. Even worst my family came in at the exact same time with another group who walked in front of them in a matter of a second (they did not have a reservation ). But that exact moment when my family walked in with the other party -the redhead gave away our last table WHILE the other party walked in. This was weird… at how fast she jumped at the exact moment to give away our table at the exact moment. At that exact moment our party was was all CLEARLY visibly there. I think she was either racist and did not want to seat us given couldn’t have waited LITERALLY TWO SECONDS for us to walk through that door. I told her- we were all already here - why did you give away our table- and with out an apology she suddenly said you we “you have to wait 5 minutes because nothing is available-and put up an argument with me playing dumb as if my family were not there. I told her we can agree to disagree who was actually here first and she gave me a restaurant pager telling now it’s going to be now 15 minutes. I was already fed up but was willing to wait - we were standing inside for about a minute and she rudely told us to Go wait outside -mind you it’s 20 degrees outside that day) I told her we are NOT waiting outside IN THE COLD and we left. My family been going to Petey’s for years we are never going back to this trashy low class establishment ever again. Atlantic grill treated us better. highly recommend dining at Atlantic grill if you’re looking for restaurant that isn’t run by an argumentative inexperienced teenage girl.
