So glad we stopped in on our way through New Hampshire. Lobster roll was hot, fresh, and overflowing! The fluffy bisque was amazing and the staff were super sweet! I cannot say enough good things!

If you LOVE LOBSTER and cute little take out places with a few places, this is it!!! I know everyone raves about the fluffy chowder. I had it the first time we went. It is delicious. However, if you want something that you will feel guilty for eating all of, it’s the large Lobsters bisque. We ordered a couple sandwiches to eat before we headed home. Our original plan was to get a fresh baked roll of bread to go with dinner. But neither of us remembered. The taste far exceeded the smell in the backseat. All I can say is get a yourselves down there before the end of the end of their end of the season

After seeing a reference to “Fluffy” Clam Chowder on the web, we had to make the trip. Hands down, it was well worth it. Pretty casual setting and clean. Limited seating with lots of takeout. The woman at the counter was friendly and quick with the food! The fluffy chowder with lobster on top was a delight. As a self identified “chowder” guy, it was fresh, hot, and tasty. I actually got a cup of fluffy chowder and a mini lobster roll. The perfect Saturday lunch. Will be back. Oopsy, I dug into the chowder before I took a photo.

Enjoyed the local art displayed and for sale, including the smallest paintings I've ever seen, beautifully framed. It takes a lot of talent to paint that small!
Planning to return soon, to try more of the menu, especially the highly recommended clam chowder and lobster bisque.
Ideal to order takeout, then take it to the coast for a picnic. It's a 10 minute drive from the Rye beaches.

Fair prices on Great tasting lobster and other seafood. More of a takeout restaurant than a dine in but we did and our hostess was great. Even provided us with a icecooler to take home leftovers.

We stumbled into the Hungry Lobster on a trip visiting Maine and driving down to Boston. THIS unplanned stop was the best food we had on our entire trip. The lobster roll was incredible and the staff was wonderful. We really enjoyed chatting with them. If you’re passing through the area, add this to your trip!

This was incredible!! We came from bar harbor and stopped all along the coast on our trip and had a ton of lobster, clams, chowder, etc.. and this was our most favorite of everything. Must try! And will come back and make it a fixture of the next trip.
