It is chaotic in there and really confusing on where to go or how to order. The food was really disapointing and everything had a bitter taste. 60$ and we didnt even eat the burgers because they were undercooked. The only plus from this experience was the milkshakes were pretty good.

First time going to a SS. Last time going to a SS. Shack burger was dry and old, fries lukewarm at best. Staff seemed disoriented. And the store wasn’t very busy. March 17 @ 4:52pm. Service took forever even though there were 7 employees behind the counter. No Thanks!

Manager (I think) let teenagers scream at other customers and berate patrons while they cut the queue. He then gave the same kids (who were obnoxious and cursing at people) free food. The line was a mess. The food was good, but cold. Because of the long lines, and chaos, we just chalked it up to bad opening night planning and ate the luke warm food. Shake Shack is always very good, I’m guessing that at this location, the manager was too busy for good quality, unlike the NYC locations.Edit: the manager reached out to me- so I wanted to change the review. I will try them again. I think my original review was based on the people in the restaurant more so than the restaurant itself.

I was so glad when I realized they opened up a location close to me. There is plenty of parking but the restaurant itself is small. They only have small and large for drink sizes which wild be OK if the large was actually a large but it's more like a medium. The cheese fries were delicious as we're the burgers. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. It was a little pricey at $50 but this was worth it. I do wish they had a little more variety in the shake flavors after all it is "shake shack" anyway I will definitely be back.

Excellent service from Mary at counter.
Although staff was super friendly. We will not be back to the Salem one. Fries were cold and burgers were dry and over cooked. It was pretty awful.
