“A friend and I went to to Tomo on 02/18/2024 for a nice lunch. We sat at the bar which had enough seating for us to relax and enjoy our meal. We did order a quite bit for just 2 people but everything was fresh and delicious.We ordered the Blackened Tuna, Hamachi Kama , Spicy Tartar Tower, Spicy Tuna Gyoza, Pork Short ribs and Grilled Chilean Sea Bass for appetizers.The Blackened Tuna was the best ! It was fresh, seared and cooked to perfection. The Spicy Tuna Gyoza were a little over fried as you can see from the pictures but well within normal limits. The inside was warm and tasty.The Pork Short Ribs were tender and sticky with a tasty soy glaze. All in all everything we ordered was delicious. The only caveat was the Hamachi Kama was not quite as fatty as I was hoping for. IT was very good with some rice though.Our bartender was pleasant and prompt and overall the ambience was welcoming and warm. We have been any ties over the years and will definitely be back.“
“The food was absolutely delicious! The portions were very generous, and the prices were quite reasonable. The drinks were large, not overly expensive, and very well-crafted. The bar area is a bit difficult to find; it is located around the back near the cashier. It may not be the most suitable place to impress a date, but you can expect excellent food, drinks, and service. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive.“

“My husband & I just celebrated our wedding dinner here. After doing research and comparing different places, we narrowed it down and decided to go with Tokyo to host our dinner. We are both very happy we did. Our host Fred was awesome, very professional, friendly and very helpful. Fred gave us a great & simple quote to help our special day be less stressful and more enjoyable. The cooks and waitstaff were friendly & welcoming. The food, the drinks and the entertainment was great. Everyone enjoyed it. Overall, service was on point. I would give this a 10 star if I could! Yes, I would have another event here again!“

“We loved the place, the food was delicious, the portion sizes were very generous, the prices were on the lower side compared to other towns closer to Boston. The owner even us the dish for free (they had chicken something (nuggets, or skewers) special, and they wanted us to try it, and it was very delicious. We were visiting Lowell cotton museum on a snowy January Sunday, thus we wanted to eat inside. We were the only ones inside, but there were so many people coming in to pick up their orders, so I figured we made the right choice for lunch, this place must be popular among locals. Next time we are in Lowell again, we'll make sure to come back Osawa!“
“Beautiful ambiance-loved the blue lights up high. Very attentive and friendly service: what a REFRESHING EXPERIENCE! Excellent sushi. Fresh. So fresh! Starting with the good staple miso soup. Better than the normal. Gyoza was amazing. Highly recommend. Did the pu pu platter for 1. Quite tasty. For sushi we probably went a little overboard. Sweetheart, spicy white tuna, spider, Queen, and fashion. All were amazingly delicious! The only "thing" was the tap water did not taste super fresh. But I chose to not take away a star ! WE WILL BE BACK! .“

“We’ve eaten in 2x and ordered DoorDash 2x. We can attest to the Sushi, crab Rangoon, pad Thai and curry dishes all being consistently great and super tasty. Everything is fresh to order! More food than we can consume so we end up with delicious leftovers for the next day! We’ll be back for sure“

“Went here 2/29 for the first time, Wendy and Kait were absolutely amazing, attentive, kind and quick! The food was hot, fresh and had amazing presentation! Drinks were fantastic and the pricing is beyond reasonable! We will be back ASAP! HIGHLY RECOMMEND both their Chinese food and Japanese food, sushi, egg rolls and lo mein were incredible! My son who is just turning 10 always request for Moontown. The rules! The soups! “I am not a huge Chinese food fan yet the food was surprisingly good. You get a good amount of food for the price which is also nice. The server, Jen, was very friendly and attentive. The space is not modern and could us some updating. Overall a good experience.“
“My husband and I stopped in for the first time today around 4:30pm. I’ll say I wasn’t expecting to see such a nice table layout. They have a nice dinning area, not too dark and the other side of the restaurant was divided for the tavern section to keep it private.Our waiter was very friendly taking our order and came around several times to check in on us.My husband had a coke and I always get a pot of tea. When the food came I was a tad disappointed that it’s the already prepared frozen type china blossom food. Peas in the rice. You know that they did doctor it up with roast pork, scrambled egg, and sprouts.Overall for the food was prepared very good for what it is.The chicken fingers crispy but soft inside, not oily. When I go to a Chinese restaurant I normally judge them by their crab Rangoons. It would be nice for a homemade type wrap over the already made Rangoons.The price was pretty decent for the combination plates we got. Maybe it was the time of day everything was pretty fresh. I will be back to try some other old favorites like Happy Family and lomein.“
