Potatoes burnt, bacon dry and burnt, pancakes dried out and nasty, eggs hard, rushed out because they close early for a wedding. So you drive up miles on a narrow winding road pay a lot for a room and if you’re expecting brunch - forget about it. It isn’t worth squat.

The service was excellent. Food was truthfully not seasoned or creative. There was almost nobody eating here each time we went, which is an odd atmosphere. View is good, however.

Parking: It's on a resort... So, if the resort is busy... Then parking is bad, but then the residence may not stay at the resort the whole time... Parking is hit or miss. This past week is wasn't that bad, but there was a wedding over the weekend... Like there generally is.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of ramps and pathways

Was unfortunately really disappointing. The pros were a beautiful view, adequate service, and decent Mac n cheese. The cons were that the food was literally inedible. My husband and I ordered the BBQ plate and the items were so old and overcooked that we couldn’t even cut through them.
The worst were the ribs that we couldn’t cut or even bite, the sausage was firm old and inedible and the chicken similarly couldn’t be cut and tasted awful. I am not someone who needs to be blown away by my meal but for a $30 plate of food and a $150 bill, the bare minimum should be to be able to bite through our food. For such an expensive and beautiful resort it is unfortunate that the only available dining option operates at such a low standard. We say this as restaurant owners who never leave bad reviews because we know how tough the business is ?

We spent a lot of money to have very disappointing food. We had the haddock, which is described in the menu as “baked with white wine and lemon and topped with chef’s buttery crumb”. It was one of the worst haddock’s I’ve ever had. No taste of the wine or the lemon. It was topped with some sort of red spicy hot seasoning. I had to scrape all of it off as I don’t like spicy food. The rest of the fish was flavorless. They were out of rice so we had the garlic mashed potatoes. They were unappetizing to look at, a bit watery and just so so in taste. And to top it all off, it took a long time for our food to come out. I would never eat here again. At least not for dinner.

My family visited in shoulder season and really enjoyed the visit. Our server was very polite, respectful, and engaging. He knew how to serve kids with patience. "My pleasure, sir" was a pleasant unexpected level of respect and service. Nothing was a problem, no issues, and the food came out well prepared. Decent drinks menu and local beer selection. The view of the hills and clouds was great. Room for the kids to roam and explore. Very nice way to start our vacation. Highly recommended.

Dined here on 3 separate occasions during our stay and everything was delicious. We sat outside and had a great view during our lunch and dinner. Drinks were delicious. Was nervous after reading some bad reviews but glad we did not listen as food exceeded our expectations.

We stayed at the resort for the second time and had dinner at the restaurant. First time we were there, about a year ago, it was very pricey and the food was really average. I was hesitant, but we were tired and there aren’t many options close by. We got very basic food, chicken quesadilla and buffalo tenders + a dessert and the total was almost 50$! The chicken quesadilla was basically inedible. Chicken was more like jerky, so dry and chewy that i spit it out. The tenders were just alright, although there were suspect pieces in there too. I would skip it and drive to town. Anything else would be better money spent.

The Hilltop Restaurant is a restaurant that is owned by Steele Hill Resorts in Sanbornton, New Hampshire. This review is based only on the restaurant and not the hotel. You can eat here even if your not staying at the hotel, everyone is welcome. The food is absolutely amazing for a hotel style restaurant. We have gone a few times and each time has been awesome. I usually have the same each time. The chicken fingers are to die for. Eat the chicken fingers. The macaroni and cheese add chicken fingers to it is also delicious. They also have a bar you can order drinks from, if the bar itself isn't open they will still make a few drinks, depending on what you want. Staff is usually very nice and attentive. The prices are pretty reasonable and fair. They have a public bathroom. It's usually clean, tables clean, floors, etc. The restaurant is sorta hiding. It's kinda centered in the middle of all their hotels, you would never see it driving by the road. The view is one of the best features, beautiful views all around, bring your camera.I have nothing really negative to say.Overall, 5 stars. ❤️

More of a buffet feel than a restaurant, but the friendliness of the staff makes up for the lack of decor.

Wasn't open on Valentine's night which is when I was booked. Because they don't open on Wednesdays. I went by on Thursday so no one in there so I passed in going.
