Had the fish "chowder" and there was nothing chowder about it. Nice chucks of fish and potatoes but the chowder part was watery. Not creamyand no flavor. Had to add spices to .taste. The clam chowder was way better and I would eat that again. Not a very engaging staff and two guys were standing talking and never looked in my direction. Had to interrupt their conversation to ask for help. Decent place overall but others along the same stretch of road to try.

Lovely place to eat fresh seafood! We got a lobster boiled in seawater, fries and fried cod plate. The smaller lobsters are tender and the restaurant comes with a beautiful view of the ocean. The cod was superbly cooked and was flaky and fresh! Highly recommended.

Waited almost 2 hours for my order. Crab cakes are burnt hard as a rock clam chowder was ice cold same with the fries ice cold. Overrated and overpriced

I have been eating at Browns for 35+ years. Classic simple beach seafood joint. Open year round, indoor and outdoor seating, byob (beer or wine), plenty of parking and fantastic food. Cash only! My go to is the Fried scallop & whole belly clam plate... yum

Everything was great. The lobster was hot and fresh, and the fried shrimp and clams were cooked perfectly, and the lobster roll was delicious and moist.

Hate giving this review because I remember this place being so much better 5 years ago. Lobster is just cold and tossed in mayo with no flavor besides the bread and mayo, lettuce for a crunch.. My buddy got the calamari basic and this was even worse . Bland all-round, with no taste
