The food is great, and the portions are good! The place is clean, and the staff is friendly and professional. The menu changed a bit recently; the fisherman's platter no longer comes with fried shrimp, and you don't get fries and onion rings, only one or the other (honestly, not a big deal), but the prices are higher, and there is less product. The prices are high! But again, the food is prepared well, and the portions are good. The staff and atmosphere are friendly.
I've been eating at Markey's for as long as I can remember. The food has always been delicious and the staff are great. My family favorites include lobster, clams chowder, lobster rolls bursting with lobster, steamers, clam strips, fried shrimp, and onion rings- they are all delicious! The seafood has always been fresh and cooked perfectly. Recently, we ordered takeout and were confused because we couldn't order the steamed food on their online system. Hot, delicious, fresh seafood and generous portions at a great price. Service was efficient and friendly. The entire place was incredibly clean, and just a wonderful vibe.
