“Hot, delicious, fresh seafood and generous portions at a great price. Service was efficient and friendly. The entire place was incredibly clean, and just a wonderful vibe. I'm surprised they're not packed every single day, bc it's a bargain to eat there and enjoy fresh seafood and a nice, fresh sea breeze on the water. Come here for a relaxing afternoon- and enjoy the beautiful, full bar with a wonderful and friendly bartender and beautiful TV screens to keep up with sports. It's just a great, untapped gem. French toast, plain, all flavor and asiago are always extremely fresh (almost as if they're baked within the hour) #1 - bacon, egg, tomato w/ ghost pepper cheese is great with adding ham. Sausage, egg and cheese on a french toast is the holy grail. French toast bagel with walnut maple cream cheese is a delicious breakfast option.“

“Stopped by for lunch and the paninis were great. This was a great spot to get something to eat and get a drink. We left pretty refreshed. My wife is picky about chai and she loved it. My iced coffee was everything you'd want in a medium roast. There were a variety of sweetener options. Wifi was available and the bathroom was clean. The staff were friendly. My K2 kept saying it was the best lunch ever (chips helped get that review). We were in Feb but I can see the outdoor space working well when it's warmer.“

“I got the most beautiful and delicious cake from Buttermilk. I was stunned by the gorgeous cakes they had ready for sale, and got the lemon raspberry cake with macrons on top. It was soooo gorgeous, and tasted as good as it looked! The friend I got it for was so excited and happy. I will definitely get my future cakes from Buttermilk!“

“We were driving forever in Newbury and Newburyport to find a decent breakfast place and for some reason our efforts were thwarted at every turn. We stumbled upon Marie's and it was the answer to our hungry prayers. They have an extensive breakfast and lunch menu, good coffee and very reasonable prices. Great, friendly service. I had a gigantic $3.50 pancake and it was perfection. Highly recommend!Parking: Huge lot with tons of spaces.“
