Extremely good food and even better hospitality. These guys are extremely nice and welcoming. Recommend supporting this business.
I just ordered take-out from Flame for the first time, and I was not disappointed! I got the Brown Stew Chicken with Beans & Rice and Cabbage, and it is to die for! It is so flavorful and comforting, it made me dance, lol. I can't wait to try some of the other dishes they have. The portion size was awesome, too. My container was practically bursting, and I will happily get 2 meals out of this. The restaurant is awesome, super quaint, and has a great vibe. And the server/bartender who was working was super friendly. I highly recommend Flame, and am happy they are just a short drive from Dover!
Exactly what we were looking for
Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free choices! Chocolate Lava cake unbelievably good!

My husband and I had dinner here and it was AH-MAZING. Wow. I have not had such a good meal like that in awhile. Everything we had was so flavorful, even all the sides. Jerk chicken was fall off the bone, good spice/heat level and not too salty, husband had the stewed king sliced fish. Rice and beans and the cabbage and few slices of plantains for the sides. Also ordered some "patties" (like empanadas) and bammy. Also had a couple yummy cocktails. Loved everything. Will be going back again soon and bringing family to try it.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Flame Jamaican Cuisine while hosting a business partner from Texas, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the server made us feel incredibly welcome. Her warmth and hospitality set the perfect tone for the evening.
We couldn’t get enough of the oxtail—it was done to absolute perfection! Tender, flavorful, and paired with the most delicious rice. We ended up ordering several rounds of oxtail because it was that good. Each plate was just as incredible as the last.
Even as the last ones to leave, the owner, chef, and server remained gracious ensuring we had everything we needed sharing laughs and stories. It was clear they genuinely cared about making our dining experience special, and they succeeded beyond expectations. My business partner left with a fantastic impression of the city (primarily due to this dinner), and as a local, I’ll definitely be returning soon! Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Jamaican cuisine and impeccable service.

When we came in we were met by a very friendly bar tender, some cool music, and spotless tables. I ordered the ribs and some jerked wings. The wings were great but the ribs were out of this world. Best I've had in the state. I was only kind of hungry and then I cleaned my plate.

My wife and I have been several times and tried almost everything on the menu, and so far we've loved it all. So much so, that we decided to come for our 1 year wedding anniversary today and it did not disappoint. Best food and best staff!!! Always a good time!

Okay breda! Coming from out of state, we don't have a lot of sitdown Jamaican restaurants. The ackee and saltfish were delicious! We also had the stew chicken with rice and peas but the flavor was off just a little. Overall, I'd recommend this place and if I'm in the area again, I'll be back.

By far the worst restaurant experience of our lives. Saltiest, driest, worst food I have ever had, paired with the worst waitress I've ever experienced. We ordered multiple dishes each in excitement for our favorite cuisine and every single one was so insanely, mind-blowingly salty and dry that the dishes were categorically inedible. Our waitress finally came over to check in "because she was bored", and after alerting her of what must have been a massive salt spill in the kitchen she said WITH A LAUGH "I'm not surprised, last time I ate here my food was so salty I couldn't eat it too"... EXCUSE ME, WHAT?!? She made the experience somehow even worse, and her awful commentary didn't end there. Horrible food, horrible hospitality. You couldn't pay me to come back. As an added bonus you get to enjoy the strong smell of stanky feet wafting in from the jiu jitsu gym next door that's somehow leeching through the walls.
