The Root offer the best food, from scratch, with the friendliest service. I drive 20 minutes to get there.

Lovely atmosphere, great breakfast sandwich. However the dirty chai was the worst I've ever tasted...extremely bitter and grassy..so I'll be staying clear of that in the future. Wish they had some more non-coffee options. Definitely will

This cute rustic cafe located in Temple, NH is worth the stop for breakfast. They have a limited menus of farm to table foods as well as coffee and tea. My husband had a breakfast sandwich and I had a scramble with goat cheese. Both were delicious. We took home chocolate croissants, which were light and flavorful. The staff were friendly and prompt. We will absolutely be returning.

Our family loves this place. A perfect kids play area is a nice bonus to delicious local food! My only recommendation to owners is to get a couple of sturdy high chairs for littles as the one they have seems to be broken.

The homemade breakfast sandwiches and espresso drinks are fantastic and made with such care and attention to detail. The mood is warm, relaxing, and pleasantly comfortable. Definitely my favorite local breakfast spot!

Cute place with a charming rustic interior and polite service. I try to support the place because it's local and the coffee and food are fresh and good, but not because it is a good value or very generous with the servings. Be cautioned, that a large coffee is a small anywhere else in the world and their coffee, food and even their farm produce are relatively expensive compared to nearby communities. They are also almost always out of breakfast pastries, breads and food before by 10am even though they are open until 2pm. I assume not because they are busy but seemingly cannot prepare and plan properly for their customers.
