While vacationing in the area, the night before a nice couple recommended this spot to our family and very glad they did. You may have a slight wait to be seated, but it’s worth it. Hands down best breakfast outing we have been on and the food was phenomenal. Even the leftovers were good. Pricing is reasonable and the shop inside is a nice way to pass time while waiting to be seated. Staff were also friendly and attentive.

Benton’s is a cute spot! The wait was short, and their selection of local products and merch made the time fly by, I couldn’t resist picking up a few things! The atmosphere was cozy, decorated with a rustic vibe. Family friendly and speedy service. Our server was sweet and attentive. I didn’t love that everything was disposable, paper cups, paper plates, plastic silverware, felt cheap and wasteful. Pancakes were good, not great. Home fries were not crispy.

Amazing pancakes, really good sausage, decent bacon. The over medium eggs were actually over hard but that's no big deal. However, paper plates and plastic cutlery? That put me off. I would go back, but it would be great if they could get real plates and cups and cutlery.

We visited Benton’s Sugar Shack yesterday on our way home from New Hampshire. I am super glad we found this place!
First, let me say the service was incredible. Lynn was so nice, helpful, and efficient. The order came out super quick and exactly as ordered. The coffee was hot and delicious. Again, Lynn was excellent!!
Now the food. We wanted to try everything. We decided to get the Farmer’s Omelette with raisin toast and home fries. Excellent, excellent and excellent! The omelette was perfectly cooked with just enough add-ins. The perfect balance of egg and add-ins.
Banana bread French toast? Out of this world. Seriously. And their own maple syrup is delicious to top it all off!!!
Also get the baked beans. They make them there, and they’re wonderful.
The hash was next level. I read someone’s review saying it was canned hash. ABSOLUTELY NOT! It was amazing!!!
The atmosphere is cool and quaint with an open window kitchen, sugar shack shop, and even maple syrup processing demonstration.
I told my husband the food, customer service and atmosphere just clearly show these people care so much about what they do. He heartily agreed!!!
If you’re anywhere near this place in Thornton, NH, make it a point to go. You will not regret it!!!

Food was mediocre and our server spoke so quietly we had to ask her to repeat herself several times. The place itself was incredible though. So much decor and their souvenir shop was impressive too! Personally I found the wall of signed guitars really cool.
