Applebee's Grill + Bar

We haven't been to Applebees in ages, but popped in for lunch takeout around noon on Veteran's Day. To say They were busy would be an understatement. However, the young man behind the counter (with a somewhat nervous but keeping up trainee) got Me a server that did my Takeout order. Heather H was quite nice and got the order in and out in a reasonable time. My wife got the Sweet/Spicy Crispy Sandwich while I went for Chicken Fajita Rolls. Nothing outstanding, but certainly not bad.

I was in with my family Sunday night. Food was fine. Service could’ve been better if I didn’t have a young kid who reeked of marijuana. I have asthma and honestly it made for a poor experience. I’m not against pot at all. However, to be that blatantly ignorant in your place of work is ridiculous. I feel bad that the manager you could tell was disgusted by the smell. Clearly, the manager had told them to go spray themselves or something. They came back after their talk with the manager on duty and they smelled like fruits/flowers. I’m not going to give their name. Because I don’t want them to get fired. Just want to see this change for the better.

I’m sorry but the bourbon chicken to go was disgusting- dry as a bone, minimal “bourbon sauce and sadly lacking in any respect. It’s always been a go to but no more!

Met family there to visit and dinner. Menu has many choices..serves are friendly and checking to see if you need anything or drink refill.

My wife and I stopped in for a late dinner. I asked for a ginger ale that didn’t taste right so I asked for a glass of milk. As I was sitting waiting I heard her (wish I got her name) our waitress tell the bartender she was grabbing some milks. I happen to be looking at her thinking she was coming right to our table when she stopped at the end of the bar. She opened one of the milks which must have a foil top and proceeded to use this sharp point object that every waiter / waitress touches while putting there her slips on it to stab through the foil and open my milk. Needless I didn’t drink the milk. God knows when the last time that thing was washed and how many people have touched it in the past month alone. When I asked her to take the milk of the tab because I saw what she did she looked at me like I was crazy!

We had a nice lunch here. Waitress was super nice.
It is time to do some remodeling in all your Applebee's, they are getting dates.

Delicious food and great staff. The kids love going, especially because they get to have strawberries and yogurt with their meal.

Used to come here regularly with some of my employees but after tonight's experience will not be coming back. Service was terrible and food that came out was luke warm like it was sitting for a while before it was served. Waitress didn't offer any refills or ever come and check in on our table and we waited almost an hour before we were able to order after a table behind and front of us had ordered and got their food of which we were there 20 minutes before both of those parties and had the same server.
