Monday (Labor Day), I drove an hour to here on my way home from Maine for breakfast to find they were closed. No sign or anything. I checked both FB and online before going (I was on the road before they opened), to find that they were going to be opened. I’m just wondering why they were closed.
You make a delicious Ruben sandwiches !
Been going there for 20 years. They do a fantastic job with everything. Lack of help has made them have to revamp things. It was a bumpy start but has worked out fine. Irish omelet every time Best hash I’ve ever had

Miss Wakefield Diner & Gracie's Country Store is a charming stop for travelers and locals alike. The diner offers a quick and efficient ordering system, where customers order at the register in the gift shop and have their food delivered to their table. Once you understand that you order in the gift shop then sit, it opens into a classic diner setup. The atmosphere is nostalgic and cozy, making it a great place to break up a road trip or visit as a destination. The food is good, with popular options like Chicken fried steak with gravy and eggs, and eggs Benedict. The meals are hearty and delicious, perfect for feeling good. The staff is friendly, and the place is kept very clean, maintaining its traditional American diner charm. The adjacent gift shop adds to the experience, making it a fun stop for anyone looking for a quick, tasty meal in a warm setting.
