Have been here 3 times now and love it. Excelent food and service.all 3 times were in 2025. Will be going again! I don't get som of the reviews? French cooking is all about the sauce and it's flavors. I loved it.
A true find. Not cheap, but one of the best meals we have had in years with superb service. Mussels/clam/monk fish Chippino chef special for me ($33), Quiche Lorraine for wife ($23). Wines half off in Wednesdays so shared bottle of Bordeaux Blanc (Chateau Lamothe de Haux) which was perfect, followed by shared dessert (Basque cheescake) and coffees. $108 before tip.
Great food and atmosphere. Once done with your meal go next door to the chocolate shop. Yum

The service was very friendly upon arriving. Our server was prompt, knowledgeable, and very courteous. I had a grilled Caesar salad with chicken $30. The Caesar salad was tasteless very bland. The grilled chicken was cold and mushy. Highly disappointed....how can you go wrong with a ceaser salad! My friend had the special scallops and pork belly, he said it was very good. He ordered a dessert, crème brûlée that was AMAZING! Service was great, atmosphere is beautiful!

My second time with Burdick’s…A rainy day and perfect time to sit in the Burdick’s comfortable eatery! The shareable menu for lunch with friends is sumptuous👏. Fresh shelled peas with crispy prosciutto, delicate sweet potatoes perfectly cooked, savory fish stew. Unhurried atmosphere and impeccable service! Thank you and sure to return🤩

We had a fine dining lunch experience today at Burdick’s. The pasta was fresh, the sauces were creative and tasty, and dessert was scrumptious. We appreciate the curated wine list with reasonable prices. Our server, Brandy, was attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wine. We have already made plans to return with friends.

Burdick's is a quaint little bistro in Walpole, New Hampshire offering a delicious menu and wine list. I had the gnocchi with artichoke and spinach minus the feta and it was so delicious. My mom ordered the duck ragu with papadelle. I tried some of her pasta dish and it was very flavorful. Thank you to the chef for an exquisite meal. The manager, Mr. Gian Luca Paris was a tremendous delight in making sure we had a great dinner. I noticed he visited each table ensuring his guests were enjoying a fine meal. If you are in the area, it is worth the visit. The red wine we shared was so phenomenal. Enjoy!

A lovely spot for lunch, tho' it was over air conditioned. The burrito and heirloom tomatoes salad was both top notch and generous and gorgeous (sorry did not take a photo). I also enjoyed the generous portion of house truffled sausage and gnocchi. Service was attentive. We will be back!

Update- the restaurant seems to be getting its mojo back. There was a lot more energy and the food has improved since my last visit. Friendly service.

Under impressed for the reviews. Starter was onion soup which was lacking depth of flavor, onions were mushy, heavy on parsley. The main was steak frites with ribeye not hanger, frites were great steak was atrocious. Medium rare was delivered medium well and lacked any seasoning. The traditional rich taste of a ribeye was missing almost like the steak was par boiled before grilling. Dessert was the house chocolate mousse which was probably the only saving grace of the meal. Overall ir gave off a small town vibe trying to be farm to table.expensive but fell flat. Not worth the price or reviews. Service was attentive and decor.was.dated but acceptable. The table paper is however tacky.

We have been long time patrons of Burdick's Restaurant. Something happened this past Sunday,.the food has seemed to slip,.french onion soup was fair at best,.eggs Benedict have slipped to just ok,.they were previously superb,. and creme brulee was pretty bad. And I am wondering why? Something has changed in the kitchen,.No questions about it. But as always,.the waitstaff was excellent and our favorite gal is clearly still superb! I am saddened as this has been our favorite restaurant for many years and we travel 1.5 hr to get here. I write this review in hopes that they can fix this problem and get back to food excellence once again. We wish them only the best. Jim Hoerle
