We came for lunch and loved the margaritas, taco salad, and tirra poblano! Beautiful view, great food, attentive staff. Highly recommend.

Everything at La Hacienda was delicious! The veggie fajitas were some of the best we have ever had. Also, the view of the pond while dining is spectacular. Would highly recommend!
Vegetarian options: They have a veggie option for most meals, like veggie burritos or veggie fajitas.

Went here two years ago and the food was fantastic. I decided to go recently and ordered the veggie fajitas once again. The vegetables that were given to me seemed like it was from a pack of frozen California mix, the one with crinkle cut carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli. The meal was mediocre at best sadly and I regretted getting a $16 meal I could have made from the grocery store frozen isle.
This has been a great add to the valley, for a few years not it’s been a great spot to have drinks and a meal, and we love the outdoor seating. The staff is always super friendly, and the menu is pretty big, so there are options for everyone. My 5 year old isn’t into some of the more flavorful foods so it was nice that he was able to enjoy a quesadilla and some ships. I loved the flauta and my mom enjoyed her chimichangas…I also loved the blood orange mezcalita…I highly recommend you give it a try!

My wife and I dined at the La Hacienda Mexicana during a recent overnight stay in Waterville Valley in late July. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of the restaurant! The nachos were delicious and distinctive, as were the margaritas! Don't be put off by the description of the house margarita. I thought it strange that they would use vodka but the results speak for themselves. Delicious drinks!
I would like to return in the winter and take in a meal (and some more drinks) in their spacious dining room. The walls have hand painted murals that I suspect depict various traditional legends. You can tell the management and staff here take a lot of pride in their restaurant. We'll be back!

We sat at the bar and the restaurant was completely dead. Kitchen staff (4) were playing pool. The bartender was nice but worked in a different restaurant by the same owner and was filling in for someone else. He didn’t know where things were but did his best. Bathroom didn’t have TP, which is annoying.

It is great to have a Mexican restaurant for food choice in the Valley. It's not the best food or margs, but it will do just fine for a quick lunch while on vacation!

The waitstaff was less than reassuring with dietary restrictions, the margaritas were watered down, and the portions were average.
Convenient location, ample seating, good enough but not great.
Dietary restrictions: Wjen we asked for GF options we were told that they had corn tortillas.
I get it, a food allergy is a me problem, bit it wasn't very reassuring.

My son and I made an impromptu stop for a late lunch and enjoyed it. Service was prompt (they were not crowded), and decor was nice. The food and drink were delicious with a couple of exceptions. My blood orange mezcalita was served in a clay cup and was very tasty. My son ordered a virgin Pina colada and was disappointed with a pink drink. The guacamole was strangely served on a bed of lettuce, which was a little odd. My son had the chicken quesadilla, and I had a Chile Verde special and both were delicious. I would definitely go back if I am up in the area

Was unsure of what to expect based on some of the reviews, but was honestly impressed. Food was tasty and flavorful, guacamole was freshly made and the portions were large. It’s a causal dinner or lunch spot great for family’s. Would recommend and will return!!
Kid-friendliness: Open space so noise is not a problem. A few arcade games in the back to entertain the kids
