I've been several times to ceffeinate. Nice to have decent espresso in Town Square. A lot of undeserved 1 star ranting from what I can tell.

Workers are very nice but the drinks are terrible and expensive. The iced americano and iced matcha latte my sister and I got were about $15 total, which wouldn’t be an issue if the drinks were good enough to warrant the price (they weren’t). The americano tasted like gas station coffee even after mixing in cream and sugar. The matcha was bitter and watery. The staff are very nice and if the drinks were better I could see this being a true successor to the coffee shop that used to be in Town Square about 15 years ago. If you need your caffeine fix then just go to Jugtown since the drinks are cheaper and the store cat might say hi while you’re making your purchase.

Heads up that they no longer make breakfast sandwiches, so if that’s your thing, you gotta go to Jugtown in the square, which opens a bit later. Bummer, as it’s very cute and as the only place opened before 8 in sleepy Waterville. Nice people though, just not into making sammies.
Had a great visit to Waterville! I especially loved the barista when I visited last Sunday morning! She was super friendly and made my tea exceptionally good! Will be coming back soon!

Bad Business/Customer Service
As an avid supporter of local & small businesses, I was left dissapointed with La Tasse Cafe yet again. Last summer, I went in to order 4 smoothies, only to be told that they close in 1 hour, and that the blenders were already cleaned and put away. This past week, I attempted a 2nd visit for coffee. After I paid, I found out that the self serve coffee was empty. When asked if it was going to be refilled, the employee responded with "we close in 30 minutes, so it's not worth making more." In utter shock with his response, I asked for my money back. I will not be returning for a 3rd time. Suggested time for service is at least 2 hours prior to closing time. Why even have a closing time if you don't abide by it??

We live nearby and come here every now and then for the best egg sandwich in town. Fluffy, fresh and steaming hot. I am shocked by the 1 star reviews because in all the time we’ve been here, it’s nothing but pleasant and delicious!

Skip wraps in this place. They are pretty plain. Ton of lettuce and nothing else. Your six year old can make a better wrap than this place. Drinks are not worth the price either.
I don’t get why WV can’t get a decent place to eat.

Ordered a chai latte with almond milk and it was the most flavorless chai I’ve ever tasted, disappointing at 7$ for a small :(

We ordered 4 breakfast sandwiches and a quiche plus some drinks. They screwed the order up completely and sold us stuff they didn't have in stock. They lost the items we ordered and the substitutions we made cost less. I asked for a refund for the $4. They eventually just gave us a bag sandwiches and $10. My advice if you are going here is keep it simple and ask for a printed receipt so you can help them figure where they are supposed to be making.
