We have stayed in various resorts, off and on, in Waterville Valley for over 30 years. First time at the Snowy Owl and until it is updated, the last. The best part of the stay was that the room was a quiet room and the price was reasonable, but beware you will get what you paid for, The configuration of teh room was very irregular. The definition of a Rustic Inn, I loved everything from the fireplaces to the room keys. I spoke to the owner who purchased the Snowy Owl in 2020 at the height of the pandemic and they are making updates and upgrades throughout the hotel every day and it shows. The executive suite has the best views and is so spacious. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. It truly feels like a family place.Added plus - Bartender Kyle made delicious cocktails, the Snowy Owltini is a must try!

It's a nice place. Nothing amazing, but perfectly fine. A nice selection of food even though the menu isn't huge. We ordered salmon...but also soft pretzel bites. Everything tasted good. The atmosphere was a little drab but we were there right as it opened. My kids have been asking to go back, so that's a seal of approval in my book.
