Only game for quite some distance however they aren't very friendly and slow, very slow. Cashiers and door check people NEVER even utter a word. No hello, thank you, have a nice day NOTHING. Even if you say a pleasantry they don't respond.... Quick, Cheap, Friendly....usually you get to pick 2 but not here. Management needs to do something or hire better. I will say I haven't had to deal with the management or any people out on the floor. I'm speaking specifically about my interactions with the cashiers and especially the door clerk.

Been going to Lebenon, NH BJs for years. I am done with this location. Whoever is checking out always has to comment how much they have worked and how tired they are. Always complaining to the customer that thy are short staffed. Cry Cry Cry, so tired of listing to it. This is a paid membership club but but it is clear that the staff has a mindset that they are doing you a social favor for just working there to addend to your purchase needs. Ok...this was the Last straw: Went turbo shopping 12-20-2023 as I arrived at 8:15pm and website and sign at entrance states BJ closes at 9pm. If you have ever been there at closing, the staff works the hardest to make sure you are out the door by 9. So I am working hard running around the store and clipping the neanderthal coupons on thier app. Scroll, Scroll, Scroll. Ugh.. Scroll, Scroll Scroll......there has to be hundeds is seems and of course half the prodects arent even stocked at that location. Get to check out in a sweat and a smile explained that we were tryig hard to be considerate and check out on time. After the cashier, first explained that he is the only one working, then started scanning and said, Oh we are open unit 10pm tonight. WTF Come on... At least let us know before you start checking us out as it was obvious we were not done as we kept having our son, run and grab items while things were being scanned. My wife asked a question about some items that she was not sure if they were on sale or not as they were in the sale area(clothing). He rolled his eyes, my wife explained that the item did not have a tag and appoligized and explained that it was the last one or she would have grabbed another one with a tag to be considerate. The cashier in a consending way with attitude said, "I am the only one here!!!!, Just because it is the last one does not mean it is on sale." Yeh, talk down to my wife and my preemptive nicety is out the door. and now started complaining about haveing to work until 10. I firmly explained to him my wife is an RN and works over 60+ hours a week and works her butt off. Does not complain about it because she is getting paid for her time. So in conclusion, if this was an isolated incident I would call it that but this BJs has issues. I have been to the BJ's in Cape Coral, FL, Sanford(area), FL and what a pleasure!!!!! For creditability, I love to write good reviews also when warrented and am not a negative person or look for negitive. When to Ziggy's Pizza before BJ's and food was fine but we were commeting in the car how nice and focused the staff was at the premade pizza section.

I went here for propane tanks and was helped by Connor. That kid deserves a raise! Super sweet and nice and helpful.

Just arrived with a HUGE list for thanksgiving, only to be told that the store is closing in 5 minutes. According to their website, they are open for another few hours. Cashier said “well, we’ve had these hours for a few months now.” And I’m supposed to know this, HOW!

This is the only wholesale club in the Upper Valley and for at least a 50-mile radius. The nearest is another BJ's in Manchester, while Costcos are even further away, in the Burlington or Nashua areas. So it's a welcome retail option for the Upper Valley. Like other BJ's I've been to - and unlike, ahem, Costco - everything is neatly organized into well-labeled aisles. They're going to try to pack as many impulse purchases as possible along the main trafficked aisles, while burying everyday staples like produce, meats, baked goods, and drinks all the way in the back. On this note, I enjoy shopping at BJ's more than Costco because they have sizes (less than what's necessary to supply a small army for a nuclear winter) and varieties (more lower-fat portions of meat and meat patties) that I like. And if you shop at non-peak hours, everything is eerily empty here. Or blissfully empty, depending on your perspective - whether uncrowded aisles, no waits at registers, and plenty of parking spaces. Not bad at all - hence my bumping a typical 3-star chain-store review up to 4.

There bakery goods are great but l ordered a custom cake for my daughters bday and it looked like a cake my kid would have made thank god my cake topping helped it out and l had to tweek it a little, not to mention the ppl ahead of me ordered a cake too and it took 2 employees to have to fix it cause the cake had a totally different name on it the least they could have done was discount it but nope full price for an inexperienced cake decorators mistakes.

I was informed that when I use my credit card in the self-checkout line, there is a box that must be checked or your next renewal of your BJ's membership will be automatically charged. I find this unacceptable and deceitful business practice. It also means that the card you used for that purchase is one file likely without your knowledge.

I was there on a week day. There were two cashiers and I had just purchased my membership as I am new to the area. Lines were backed up with 6 or 7 people in each and the manager just stood aside and talked to another cashier and watched as it took us the better part of an hour to ring up everything and everyone ahead of us. Why not help, rather than let your employees drown? On top of that, the person ringing us up complained about her job the entire time and clearly didn't want to be there (even more than us after waiting that long for no reason). So...I canceled my membership and don't plan on going back.

The "High Octane" coupons are a joke. The ten cents a gallon per item did NOT come off my gas price. I have been to the service desk four times in the last two months about this. On the third time, the woman looked at my buying history and realized that they owed me $8.65. On the fourth time, another woman said that she wasn't able to look at my history and wasn't able to help me and I should have come in the same day that I purchased the gas (like I have nothing else to do with my time). This, of course, makes me think about how many customers may have been treated like this. If 100 people had the same issue and didn't get it resolved (and let's say they would have gotten $8.50 in a month), that's an extra $850.00 that BJ's gets to keep. If it's 1000 customers, that's $8500.00. If it happens just once or maybe twice, okay, maybe it's a glitch in their system. Four times starts to look like a pattern to me.

I've taken my time to think about this review, I hope that someone in management takes the time to read it... I've spent a lot of time in warehouse clubs and this one is the worst... it has frustrated me to the point of leaving a bad review. I waited, I was patient, I tried to give them a fair shake. I will continue to come to this store because they are the only game in town, but believe me, if there was an option I would go elsewhere... first and foremost is the ridiculous coupon system! Costco & Sam's moved past this kind of system 15 years ago... it's bad enough to have to figure out which ones I want in an app but then when I try to use it 3/4 of them don't transfer & you have to scan them manually. The last time I checked out there, it took me about 20 minutes just to get all my in store coupons. The time before because the registers don't show the discounts before you pay ??? Seriously?! I had to go to customer service to get my coupons added in. I could write all day about how stupid this system is.. but something tells me everyone knows... it's all really a dirty way to hide the fact that they don't want you to really get the savings they are advertising... Beyond all this, most of the people working there seem completely disconnected. Not quite rude but basically like post office employees... just there holding down the equipment so it doesn't drift away. Other than the nice younger man at the door, no one has ever really TRIED to help... they do it when you ask, but only then and a bit begrudgingly at that. With a little care this could be a great place to shop, but as it is now it's the most frustrating place I've been in a long time! I would rate 1 star but the products are great and prices (if you can manage to use the coupons) are good. Do some work guys, care about your customers & you could do great things... there are a lot of people in this market that might come in if you make the effort.

Nothing like a company capitalizing on the pandemic. They won't take any returns. Why is it that everyone else lets you return stuff? Plus their store brand adds so much sugar to things like vinegar that you don't realize until you taste it. I won't renew my membership. Will drive two hours to Costco instead.

CAUTION!! This location does not adequately service their gas pumps. I was pumping gas when the high pressure hose split, dousing me and the interior of my vehicle in gasoline. As I am standing there dripping in fuel and trying to use some napkins I found in my glove box to clean some of the fuel from my face and eyes, the attendant comments that this same thing had occurred on pump one a week prior. The store manager took my information down and told me that someone would be in touch. Now, after a month I have still not heard from anyone. I suffered with head aches for several days after the exposure and had to deal with a fuel soaked interior of my vehicle.
