Had a great lunch with the best warm spinach salad I've ever had. Inside is like a winter wonderland with evergreen decor and holiday lights. Felt relaxed and welcome right away. Really nice gift area, with lots of baby shower gifts and other thoughtfully curated items. This was a great experience where you feel truly appreciated as a guest.

A really great cozy place in the heart of westmoreland. It’s like out of a storybook. Beautifully decorated and there’s a lovely gift shop inside. You can dine in or take out. The food was amazing and filling. It is easy to assume the owners put their heart and soul into this brunch restaurant. I count myself lucky to have moved close by and will be coming back often for a sweet meal :).

You are missing out if you don’t check out Barn and Thistle.

The food presented is at the highest level of excellence. This menu manifests in an exquisite execution of simple offerings.

The prices are unfair to the restaurant.

I’ve been twice on a ‘date’.

I had the BLT the first time.

Anyone can make a BLT. Not many can make this BLT. Sourced in the freshest bread, veggies and the best bacon I have ever had, good luck making this at home!!

I had breakfast the second time. The coffee they offer is delicious. I won’t bore you with details of my breakfast plate other than to point out the best pankcakes I have ever had. The portion was good and the price was much lower than I would expect of a place of this caliber. Real maple syrup in quantity!!

Put this hidden gem on your list of things to do on a date when passing through the hills of Southwestern New Hampshire/Vermont.

This restaurant is currently on the top of my list of eating establishments in the tri-state area.

Be aware that it is a very small/quaint place with limited seating and hours so plan your trip.

It is clear that the owner has very good energy and has been dumped love into this amazing place.

She gets the highest marks I can give.

Thank you. Bravo!!

I had the traditional breakfast and it was superb. Everything was sourced locally and cook to perfection. Best breakfast I’ve had in ages and if you come at 11am you’re eating it in 10 minutes!! 30 minute lunch break on my way through town, can’t beat it.

What a gem of a place...where whimsy, charm, wisdom and laughter are all manifest at once by one visionary owner and her team. Details abound - everything both inside and outside has been placed with caring intention. We had a delicious locally-sourced breakfast plus a near-magical experience chatting with the hostess and browsing the curated gift items scattered throughout. Wherever you are coming from it is well-worth the (pastoral serene beautiful) drive to get here. Highly recommended. We will be back repeatedly... and we covet the front window table.
