Today was my boyfriend and I’s first time going we’ve always heard good things about this place however I was not pleased at all with my experience and will not be going back. When we first got there I noticed that the prices were rather steep but we were still willing to continue eating there, we ordered the lumberjack, double stack of french toast (which came with no sides) , a side of bacon and sausage, and two orange juices with a coffee. Sadly - the WORST Customer Service we have Ever experienced!!!!
Today was a busy day, as I am sure most weekends are. We checked in and were told it could be a 30 to 40 minute wait, which was fine. I went to breakfast with my family last weekend. It was my first time eating here. I loved my waffle with strawberries and cream. I look forward to eating here again soon.

Stuart & John's Sugar House is a charming spot with a calming atmosphere and a cute little gift shop. The staff is friendly, courteous, and accommodating, creating a welcoming environment for all. This restaurant offers a nice play area for children and is a great spot for breakfast. Guests have praised the delicious breakfast food, with highlights including super fluffy pancakes and waffles that have a great vanilla flavor. The maple syrup served warm with meals adds to the experience. However, some visitors have noted long wait times and high prices, such as an $8.00 side order of bacon. Despite these issues, the sugar shack and breakfast are worth a visit, especially for those riding the Cheshire Rail Trail. It's recommended to avoid peak lunch hours if you're short on time. Overall, this restaurant has created amazing memories for many who pass through, making it a must-visit spot for both locals and travelers.
