This is an amazing off the road, hidden gem. The food was amazing...service great. Rustic dining experience on a working farm. Loved it.
Happy surprise finding the hilltop cafe today. Great farm to table experience, highly recommended!
I am pulling out my chef card on this one. I've cooked on a high-end professional level since 1999, in 4 major markets. I absolutely know what Im talking about..... This place is operating above excellence, under the radar. 10/10 experience 10/10 prices 10/10 quality. I'll certainly be back prepared to document my visit. Nicely done everyone, the owners should be very proud!
Found Hilltop Cafe during a vacation in NH. The food and coffee were amazing and the staff was so friendly. We went back for seconds! Will definitely be back on our next trip through the area.
My Peruvian potatoes dish was a lot of mashed potato with 2 underfried , jellyish eggs , a slice of avocado and some greens and was underwhelming I’m afraid. My tea came ready made in a mug with way too much milk -pale and undrinkable. I was expecting so much more but the scenery on the drive up was pretty.
Read the reviews and took an hour ride to get there. You enter the front door and don’t know what to do, because there is not a sign to direct you. Then you look around, check outback and find out you’re supposed to check in there. You seat yourself and make sure you grab menus from the back room. While your waiting for a server, you can watch the dozens of flies buzzing around the place. We both had grilled sandwiches, they were okay not great. When asked what the soup of the day was, we’re told there wasn’t any. Oh and don’t expect to get a check at the table, you have to go outback again to pay. Would not recommend this place. What did I miss ?
This cafe is scenically set on a working farm so food is locally sourced. Also organic. Tasty breakfast (I had a burrito) and smooth, strong coffee (a good thing). Our server was extremely friendly and very attentive.
Amazing food. Wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. Great staff. Thank you!
Great Pizza! Awesome service!
Amazing lattes and the breakfast burrito is out of this world with their fresh homemade salsa!! Very nice staff and beautiful views, would recommend to anyone!!

Great food - tables set in a field of this Community Farm - easy to make reservation on their website - on a hill surrounded by fields - great for kids - run around the field while adults eat. A special place - attractive and beautiful
This place is amazing. The food is farm to table and the farm is right outside. My kids loved seeing the cows and they had swings for them. The coffee drinks are great and the food is sooo good. Definitely recommend this place. It has a small homey feel and everyone is very nice.
For the summer, Hilltop Cafe will offer pizza cooked in their outdoor wood fired brick oven. There is even outdoor seating, in addition to the indoor seating. We visited this weekend and the pizza was wonderful! There are several choices, first being size. Then there are several offerings to which you can add more toppings. Because it was busy, and the capacity of the oven is limited, our wait was long, but well worth it. After sharing a delightful salad, we shared a 14" fig, prosciutto, and rosemary pizza with soft mozzarella and a fresh tomato sauce. We ate it all. Hilltop is under new ownership, and family members are in evidence. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We will return! Next time we might order two different 10" pizzas, and bring home leftovers, if there are any.
I just loved stopping in here, walking through the barnyard, coming inside to a relaxed crowd, not one person had shoulders up around their ears, no everyone was completely enjoying the atmosphere and I felt immediately at home!
I want to tell everyone about this place as it is truly a hidden gem and at the same time I dont want to tell anyone so I can always go and get a seat :) This place is great. It is a casual, homey, eclectic atmosphere with great food. They are using all fresh ingredients, making all the sauces from scratch. The menu is not for the picky eater. They have limited basic entrees and more creative fun flavored items. I typically do not go out for breakfast as I make great pancakes and eggs at home. When I do venture out for breakfast I appreciate some creative selections. Hilltop has many to choose from. I can not wait to go back and try something else. When we left I ordered a chocolate chip cookie to go. My family agreed it was the best cookie ever.
