North Main Café, located on Main St. in Wolfeboro, is a charming cafe and breakfast/lunch spot offering a variety of unique drink options and some vegetarian choices. Popular menu items include the Deluxe Breakfast Sandwich, Happy Hippy, and Supreme Breakfast Sandwich, as well as the Breakfast Burrito (be sure to add chorizo), Everything Toast, and Smoking Salmon bagel. The staff are friendly, and the owner is known to be a lovely person. The coffee is sophisticated, with excellent options like the caramel latte, iced chagaccino, and iced earl grey latte. Their banana cake with espresso cream cheese frosting and other pastries are out-of-this-world. The bagels are the best in the area, and there are great gluten-free options. The cafe is spacious, clean, and relaxing, with free WiFi, sunny dining areas, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Wait times may be lengthy, but the service is always happy and welcoming. Santa has been spotted visiting the town. Parking is a short walk from free spots along Main Street.
