Been going to this tavern for years. Unfortunately the last few times have been disappointing but our visit last night was exceptional. The food was fantastic, the general manager was a true hospitality professional. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
My wife and I went for a late lunch today. We had each a sandwich (Cuban steak & chicken melt) and those make it easily in the top 5 we ever had! Service was very attentive and kind. Place itself has its very own charm. We’d definitely repeat if in the area again.
We are summer locals and haven't been to Wolfe's Tavern at Wolfeboro Inn in 5 years or so. Just had a delicious lunch there today - Keisha was our waitress, she was awesome! Really, really great lunch: husband got their version of an Old Fashioned and I got a hand-mixed red sangria, both excellent. Lunch was a medium rare burger, cooked perfectly, and the BLAT club (BLT with added chicken and sauce). Never had this combo before - I'll have it again! Wolfe's Tavern is a cozy dining establishment with a range of opinions. The food is fantastic, and standout dishes include the Smokey burger with pulled pork and bacon, and the Reuben special. The general manager is a true hospitality professional who provides excellent service. Prices are competitive. The new management is enthusiastic and attentive, making for an enjoyable dining experience.
