I have visted the black cat on numerous occasions and had several meals. Most of those times I was happy with the service and the meals. Decent pub food. But I must vent and complain. My last 2 visits I ordered the prime rib which is their Thursday Friday and Saturday special. I have had this in my past visits.which was awesome. Well except for the last 2 visits. My last visit I could not even cut it with the steak knife or chew it. Besides having more fat than meat. I guess I should have learned my lesson from the time before. Never the less my $23.00 steak that was 90% left on the plate was discounted for $6.00 which was not the point. But hell thank you for my past and last meal.

My wife and I went here for the first time. We both had the cheeseburger sliders and fries and we really enjoyed it. The sliders seemed to be house made and were cooked perfectly. As we entered, we both were both greeted by the bartender, and she let us know we could sit where we like. She came around from the bar and started us with drinks. The waitress was very friendly and the food came quickly. I can honestly say we enjoyed the warmth of the welcoming staff and good food and drink. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

We went here on Saint Patrick's day. It was so quiet it was awkward. I would never go here again. Bunch of old people. This place reminds me of my grandma's house . I think I saw a grandfather clock in the background. Please get rid of the china cabinet and the knick knacks. Old Italian mobster dude kept staring at me .

I had dinner with parts of my family .....it was a good time with good food....hadnt been in several yrs.....and saw an old former CO worker who works there......hadn't seen her in a very long time.....she was attentive,did her job well, was smiles and didn't waste time with anything..... And it was great to see her again.Parking: Open spots when we got there right in frontKid-friendliness: My nephews were there and they had gotten certain food and ate most of it.....brought home leftovers

Really enjoyed the Black Cat Bar & Grill. Wife enjoyed the French Onion soup and we shared the mozzarella sticks. Followed with a Chicken Cat sandwich and BLT, both were excellent. What I most enjoyed was the exceptional service from the woman tending bar. Though we were sitting at a side table, and it was busy, she was like a well oiled machine, working hard, always pleasant and stayed on top of keeping our drink cups filled and it seems everyone at the bar as well! Unfortunately we didn't try this place until the last day of vacation, would have frequented it more had I known how good it was. FYI, the menu is far more extensive than what I could locate online. Highly recommend!
