This place is great! All crab meat crab cakes like mom makes! I had a fresh fried scallop too and the wife had jumbo fried shrimp that were about the best I ever had. Our lunch price for all this was excellent too. Highly recommend!

They screwed up my takeout order. Paid for broiled combo got some kind of a nasty fried combo instead. Second item was not what I was expecting. Don't leave until you examine your take out order.

Disappointed with Bob’s Seafood – Poor Service and False Promises
I’m extremely disappointed with Bob’s Seafood in Absecon. For weeks, we’ve called regularly trying to get crabs, and each time we’re told to call back. Today was the last straw — after calling multiple times throughout the day, we were finally told that the truck had come in and they had crabs. But when we got excited and followed up, they suddenly claimed they didn’t have time to cook and clean them — even though they still had two hours before closing.
This is terrible business. Don’t tell customers to keep calling back, give them hope, and then turn them away once the product is finally available. If you can’t deliver on what you promise, just say so upfront. We’ll be taking our business elsewhere.

I haven't been there for a while. I must say I was Extremely disappointed. I got the fried shrimp. It was soggy the shrimp were not cooked French fries soggy overall a real disappointment the shrimp were smaller mostly batter and the price went up
Needless to say. Lost me as a customer

I purchased two dozen #1 crabs from them yesterday and paid the price for all #1's blue crabs. I noticed when I got home the had a mixture of #1's mixed with small crabs. I will never do business with bobs seafood again. They were not honest with my purchase and did not give me all the size crabs I bought. Don't purchase from them. They are not honest with their products for the money you spend and I spend a lot on Tuesday with them. You guys are crooks in business. Shame on you!!!!

I didn't take pictures but anytime I'm in AC, we drive over to Absecon to Bob's Seafood. I had crab legs and shrimp. Always my go to spot as I head back up the road. 💋
