Great little place. Expect to wait for food because everything is made fresh by order. Worth the wait the food is great. Have the chicken and waffles or the "little chicken" sandwich.

The food, service and atmosphere were all lovely! Some truly clever takes on local favorites like the Expressway omelet with long hots, pork roll and cream cheese. The cranberry and water (I'd love to hear the inspiration behind the name) is an open face egg, onion and avocado sandwich was also super yum. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked and thw waffle was that just right crisp outside fluffy inside. The food was so good we ordered their pepperoni bread for Thanksgiving appetizer and can't wait to pick up Wednesday!

Service is terrible. Only 6 tables in the restaurant and server took 15 minutes before she even took our order. Ordered food and took literally an hour to get the food. The waitress did not look at us or check in one time. Infuriating. Food was ok. Although I could've taken a culinary course, raised a chicken, and cooked the eggs myself in the time it took them to bring out the food. Waitress then takes our money for the check... takes 10 minutes to give us change (there's now 2 tables in the restaurant). Was in the restaurant for about an hour and a half. If you have 2 hours of your day to waste, I guess give it a shot.

We were in the area looking for some quality breakfast and found JW's. The staff, while radiating positivity, was pumping out orders like a machine, all in sync, close attention to detail, and they produced high quality food in doing so. We ordered to go, but the seating area, while tight, was bright and inviting and I plan on sitting to eat in the future when I return to the area. Overall great experience and great food.

Grits were some of the best I've had in NJ. I had the chicken & waffles, my husband had the fluffy pancake platter. Everything was so good! We will be back for lunch or dinner next time. Thank you!

Our family met at JW's on Sunday morning Sept 10.We were 10 in all and I must say that the staff was friendly, customer oriented and completely interested in our having a good time .Food was all good since we all had different dishes including country fried steak, cheesy grits, omeletes and pancakes .The chef was especially good at his job .He had all of our dishes ready all at the sane timec. Will definitely return here .

This is a fantastic local treasure. Best breakfast spot hands down in the area! anything on the menu is very good. this may sound cliche but actually factual!

This spot is a hidden gem that must be tried. Consistently great food and the most creative breakfast menu in South Jersey. I promise you will have a hard time making a decision on what to eat. Waitresses are always on point, and they treat everyone that comes in the door like you are part of their family. The "Rajun Cajun" and "Cranberry and Water" are two of my go-to favorites on their menu.

I came here for the first time with my fiancé. It took a long time for us to even be acknowledged by a server once we sat down, then even longer to get our food order after two separate people came by to drop off our coffee and water to us. We sat there for over an hour before we even got to eat anything. I was trying to get a quick breakfast at a place I heard nothing but good things about but was left pretty disappointed as the food wasn’t really worth the wait or price. We spent around $50 for two breakfast dishes and two iced coffees.

We dined in for dinner, out at a table under an umbrella. All three entrees were excellent, as was the Ceasar salad. All ingredients were very fresh, made to our order. Great prices. The desserts sounded yummy. Our server was terrific! Can hardly wait to go again.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, great vibe, and the food is outstanding. The chicken & waffles hit the spot - but the shrimp & grits are next level. Stopping here on our way home is our favorite part about going to Atlantic City. Eat here - you won’t regret it.

Ordered SOS for breakfast and after 15 minutes server comes to say they don't have it. Took a very long time to get our food after I reordered simple 2 eggs over easy. Maybe just an off day.

What a phenomenal little gem. Pricing is unbelievable for the quality of food they create. Our server Sarah was engaged and brought out a freshly made "blueberry butter" that complimented the waffles so well without us even asking. It was so light and fluffy I thought it was whipped cream! The chicken was flavorful and cooked perfectly, also served with a "spicy bourbon butter" that took the chicken and waffle dish over the top. The best Juevos Rancheros I've ever been served in a restaurant, and that was the least impressive part of the meal. The kitchen, visible from the dining area, is clean and you can tell these people take pride in the food and service they provide. I can't wait to go back and try more from their menu.
