The Phoenix is always a great breakfast stop, and an early in the week stop was even better, staff is friendly and treats their infrequent visitors like they do their regulars. Give em a go eh! It easily accessible from rt.30 .

The place is good the service is horrible The waitress had a very nasty and pushy attitude. I really hope that they don’t get paid based on tips. We were not happy with the service and won’t be coming back.

LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS! The cream chip beef was extremely salty, there were multiple problems with the food and when brought up to the waitress she rolled her eyes and had a poor attitude about it. Manager took care of everything but I won't be back.

I had been going to this diner for almost 11 years. Started in 2006 until 2016. Going and returning from Atlantic City.
Spoke to the hostess in 2017 and said I promise to be back. I haven't been recently, because my husband passed away in 2017. This diner has the "best breakfast, lunch & dinner." Omelettes and pancakes are very, very good!!
I almost forgot the name recently and looked up locations. So glad I found it. This will always be my favorite diner to go to in New Jersey.
Desserts are great by the way. Enjoy their cookies for Christmas, too.
