I had eggs over medium nicely done, with sausage and home fried potatoes- not that great I did enjoy the cup of grits and the coffee was good. They have an extensive breakfast menu at this place. The service is not that great

Long standing classic breakfast establishment. New to ice cream with great unique selections, but the ice cream machine is set too warm. They need minimum 2 people taking orders every night, third would be warranted most nights. People get frustrated and leave often. Honey comb Sunday is a masterpiece.

Spectacular food and service! Might seem like nitpicking, but I’m a big coffee guzzler and need atleast 3 refills with breakfast. I often get looks when asking for a refill and not getting one is how I judge amazing service personally. Absolutely lived the poached egg, the sausage egg breakfast sandwich was fantastic and even the silver dollars.
We've made road trips all over USA, always looking for unique places with local character and great breakfasts. We were lucky to find the Sunryser in little Absecon and add it to our list of happiest discoveries.

Really small place and very on bland type of food. I'd say restaurant Depot quality. Nothing fresh or special here I we me and my girlfriend actually walked and looked at the menu and walked out

The atmosphere was very cute & cozy so my fiancee and I (two women) were so excited to eat here. Once we sat down it was about 10 minutes before we were approached by a very rude waitress who didn’t greet us. Just flatly asked what we wanted to order and did a drive by drop of silverware where she basically threw it on the table. Meanwhile I watched her interact with other tables and she was sweet as could be, checking on them and making small talk. She did not check on us until we finished eating and said again “what do you need” anytime I said thank you she remained silent. Based on her pleasant interactions with every other customer I unfortunately can only assume she treated us rudely because we are part of the lgbtq community. Would never go back.

Best ice cream. Great staff. Stop on for breakfast. Excellent menu
Absolutely excellent! The staff is a family that makes the customers feel like family! So if you are in the area, make it your business to stop in. Great food from great people whom have been serving the area great food for decades. Fiesta pizza to the Sunryser, never a bad meal!
Nice folks, good food.
We went on a Saturday morning for breakfast. What a cute, cozy setting to enjoy some delicious breakfast. All the tables made me feel like I was in my Grandma's kitchen. Definitely stop in!
Always had a great meal and I tried a few dishes from their menu! The server’s are great and they don’t miss a beat! I highly recommend stopping in for a great meal! Go in hungry & leave full!
