Very pleasant experience. Restaurant was busy and nearly full despite sub-freezing weather outside. Menu had many options of fish and meat. Two of us had the ample chicken pot pie (apparently a Smithville Inn tradition) and it was delicious. Others had fish courses. Portions were large and enjoyed leftovers for lunch the next day. Service was excellent. All in all I was surprised that it was so reasonably priced . Would definitely return.

Overall always a good experience. Hire a hostess with a nice personality. This is always the first impression. Other than that, the staff is always friendly and professional. We all enjoyed the experience.

The Smithville Inn never disappoints. Their roasted turkey dinner and their chicken pot pie are two of my favorites. The ultimate comfort food!

We have had dinner many times at the Smithville Inn and have always had a nice dinner. Our server Antwan was excellent. The piano player Lenny was also excellent and added to our evening.

I've been trying to update last year's review. If this review is duplicated my apologies but I kept getting dropped and had to start over.
My previous meals were delicious. Today was a big disappointment.
1)I ordered the iconic pot pye as I've done before. It was noticeably smaller at a higher price and the flavor was average.
2) my mother had the salmon and it was okay but her sides were burnt. She wouldn't send it back and left the burnt ones on the dish. I can't believe a server would bring that out.
They were holiday busy but that's no excuse and I still had to pay the bill
I paid, didn't complain, left 20%, and cancelled my new years day reservation for five.
Ill never eat there again.

We ate at the Baremore Tavern which is apart of the Smithville Inn. The food is outstanding, the ambiance is better and the service is unmatched!
