I'm from Maryland. I was helping a friend move to the area. We got subs there and the next day needed to deliver another load for the move and I insisted on going again. I can literally see myself driving 3 hours on a Saturday just to share this place with my friends. One of the best subs I have ever experienced.
bad experience at Vicks yesterday. The cheesesteak looked nothing like the pictures on their site. The meat was not flavorful. not chopped up enough. The cheese was just laid on top of the cheesesteak and came off when I took off the paper. they forgot my mushrooms and they didn't even cut it in half. I'm really surprised that the reviews are so high. I even paid the money for the extra meat?
I got an Italian sub. The meat and cheese was not sliced to order. They like some other south Jersey sub shops wad up the meat and slap it on the roll. I don't like that. The meat should be layered with care. They also put whole lettuce leaves on the bottom of the meat, I don't like that either. My biggest complaint is that they don't have vinegar. If they don't have vinegar, they should not be making Italian subs as this is a must on an Italian sub. Lastly...
