My husband and I are from out of town in, Central Pa & have come to Villa Rifici 2 other times when we come to town.
Tonight, I was looking forward to your veal Marsala, which I have ordered in the past, but was mistakenly given chicken Marsala. I only ate 1/2 of the meal and thought it definitely tasted different than the veal I have had here in the past and I thought it tasted more chewy and was definitely thicker than veal usually is. When the waitress brought the check, my husband noticed that we were being charged for chicken Marsala, not veal Marsala that I had originally ordered.
I was totally disappointed as I don’t usually order chicken out at any restaurant.
My husband, however, received what he ordered (Salmon,) and enjoyed his meal.

I've been all over the USA and lived in different states eating various kinds of pizza, but I gotta say that this place is in my top 10 favorite places to get a pepperoni pizza in the USA whenever I am visiting NJ. I may be biased because I am from NJ, but in my opinion, New York, New Jersey, South Eastern Pennsylvania make the best pizzas (NY style) in the country.

Wow - just stopped in for a beer in this hot weather and treated myself to Oyster Franchise and they were amazing! If your from Absecon this is a must stop for lunch, dinner or just cocktail.

Went here just to grab a quick bite after work, and the waitress serving me uttered the exact dying words of my late wife of 20 years, and then left without even taking my order. Ridiculous.

Someone approached my 8yo son in the men’s bathroom and asked him if he knew what “docking” was. Incredibly unprofessional and disappointing, if I could give LESS than one star I would. Will not be returning anytime soon.
All I can say is I don't know how this place is still in business I guess they survive off there bar drinks and bar food because as for gourmet meals the cook needs to go back to culinary school and the manager there running the place needs to take classes in hospitality. The sauce has no taste, the meat sauce is gross, the chicken is hard like rubber, the sausage taste and texture was not even edible to swallow.....but here the manager would only take off one meal because the other 3 of us tried to really eat our meal and force it down because we don't like complaining or making scenes. We were so quiet at the table nobody even new we were there! The proportions are not that big so if someone is leaving the whole plate there and the other two people only ate certain areas of the dish and left 75 percent there what does that tell you manager who obviously doesn't care.....but he will soon when no one comes there anymore!

To the point, over paid for a tv dinner, the food was terrible , service was good but don’t waste your money. Not real Italian food and my $32 meal was definitely pre made and reheated. So dissatisfying. Ps don’t be fooled by 4.5 stars not sure where that is coming from lol
