Sky Cafe is a charming restaurant located right on an air strip, offering a cozy atmosphere and idyllic surroundings. Despite long lines, customers enjoy good food like crispy fries and bottomless drinks while watching planes and gyrocopters. The menu is full, featuring dishes like Mediterranean salad and crispy buttermilk chicken. With stunning ambiance and vegetarian-friendly options, it's a perfect spot for a unique dining experience.
The establishment offers excellent American cuisine, with portions fit for a king and a very friendly staff. It's extremely family-friendly, with families and their children enjoying dining on the active air strip, watching planes come and go through the large windows. There's also a wonderful patio that gives an even greater airstrip effect, keeping diners entertained by the constant activity.
The interior has an old-school diner feel, with wood paneling and airplane-themed decor, creating a cozy and lived-in atmosphere. The food is consistently praised, with the Arugula Salad with grilled chicken being a standout dish. While the dessert can be hit or miss, the overall dining experience is highly recommended for those seeking a unique and memorable meal.
The Sky Cafe is an absolute treasure—part diner, part front-row seat to a runway show. Where else can you sip coffee, enjoy a phenomenal breakfast, and watch planes taxi by? The food is outstanding: crispy home fries, a perfectly cooked Maverick omelet, and coconut banana brioche French toast that belongs on a postcard. Service was just as impressive—friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. This place is amazing; the food is incredible, the outside is great with airplanes, and the servers are top notch in quality service. Their omelets are a favorite, and the pumpkin cheesecake was phenomenal.
