“Carmine's is our go to place whenever we crave Italian or a cheesesteak. Husband and I were there yesterday for late lunch. Excellent pasta fagioli soup, huge slices of pizza, and overstuffed, cheesesteak. Great service and reasonable prices. We were informed there is an extra charge if you're not paying cash. This is becoming a common practice and we were informed of it. Server was excellent and made us feel welcome. I was asked if I knew of any pizza parlors served gluten free and of course I recommended Carmine's.“

“My husband and I celebrated our anniversary there last night. I requested to dine in one of their rooms. We were escorted to a small room where we enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Our waitress, Ava, was awesome. We were given a small complementary bottle of Processo which was so nice! We have been there many times before and never had a bad meal. The vintage decor there is fabolous! Highly recommended.“

“Wow! Used Stella G’s as my wedding caterer, and was absolutely blown away. The food was AMAZING. We were nervous about how the food would be but my husband and I were shocked by how delicious it was and the guests kept complimenting it was as well. The restaurant is family run and the owners did everything to make sure it was a hit. From initial emails, phone calls, questions, and menu selection they went above and beyond. I can’t stress enough how each bite of food we had was better than the last. They out did themselves on taste, presentation, professionalism, and courtesy. I will only use them in the future and recommend them to anyone who needs an event catered. Thank you for making our night a success!!!“

“From the street you would think this place was closed, but it’s open. The restaurant is clean, but not lively. There weren’t many people inside. The service was good, quick. Food was also good, but lacked flavor. The sauces were given to you, there was nothing on the table but crunch oil. Plus side: it’s BYOB“

The employees have changed over the years but they value customer satisfaction more than anything. They are always nice and respectful. Yeah, it's called the Buck Hill Brewery, but if wine is more to your palette, you can have that, too. The food is prepared to order, and it's delicious. The server/bartender Maryann L is patient, friendly, engaging and efficient. She greets everyone like they are an old friend.

So, let me update this review to again report that we just had another terrific two visits in the last two weeks, and both times were lucky enough to have the amazing Kendalle as our server. The pub competition in the area needs to walk into this place to see how it's done correctly.“
