My first time at this establishment. The food and service were great. Also, the bar tender was friendly. Most of the customers knew each other, which means that they are regulars. Great conversations at the bar, even though I was from out-of-town. I will come here again!

Went there yesterday for the first time with some family members! Walking up to the door, what smacked me in the face was how dirty the doors were! Looked like the glass doors hadn’t been cleaned in weeks & this was within an hour of opening! The waitress was nice. Drinks were good, but have been sick all day since eating the chicken nachos! A family member also ate off the same nachos as I did & she’s sick too! Just felt the name matched the atmosphere! Not very clean! Don’t see myself returning!

Definitely a hidden gem dive bar with great food and service. Ice cold beer. You not gonna find a menu at a bar with more appetizers I promise. I have been here three times and can't say enough about how good the food is. Prices are cheaper than you'd expect too.

Saw one of the greatest punk bands here years ago called The Y i Oughtta's and they blew the whole bar away. Not only was I not expecting a local punk band to be from the sticks of south jersey but I am glad I stopped in to this bar that day. I think the bar was called the village tavern then but either way I hope they have another punk band or bands play there soon cause i would really love to see them play this bar gain. I think most of the members started a new band though called Minor Setback out of Bridgeton, NJ. Please get them to play here, they have some great tunes on Spotify and sound like they have only gotten better like a fine bottle of bourbon or wine!!!!
We just started going thanks to word of mouth from friends! Yummy bar grub! Also, the prices are not bad! We spend about $80-100 for a family of 6 at dinner on a Wed night! We love the music bingo!
Parking: It can get tough to find on a real busy night but no fear!!!

Rah!!
