“We were visiting from out of town. We had savory and sweet crepes and they were both delicious. The lemonade and coffees were good too. The owner/chef is great at what he does and the people working for him were all friendly and kind. I would go back anytime I was on the east coast!”

“My friends and I love this place. Very good ambiance and wine is great, too. I do wish they had a larger variety of red wine. The prices for the reds are a little too steep. If I was their management I would either lower the prices on the reds or add another one or two good reds with a lower price sticker. As someone who goes to wineries and enjoys wine, I know that 44 and 46 dollars for a bottle of wine, even if at a winery, is too steep.”

“WOW drove a half hour to come here and when I pulled up, I was not expecting much. But then you walk inside and it’s not what you would expect !!! This place is amazing on the inside and the food is FAN-freaking-TASTIC!!!!! And our waitress was the nicest server I’ve ever had. I will be here ALOT more!!!”

“Have you went to a pizzeria one day , got a delicous pizza , returned next week and it seems like it was thrown together by your child? A lot of restaurants lack reliability in quality of food. Thai palace is always fantastic. We must have ordered atleast 10x times in the last 6-8 months and always fantastic. Dumplings, curry puffs, pad Thai, drunken noodles. Always a 10/10 and the lovely lady working at the front is great.

Beware of heat though.

“If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The food is absolutely delicious!!!! This Italian Restuarant, in my opinion, is the best in Clinton. The owners and staff are customer focused and if you need an ingredient changed in a dish ordered, they are more than willing to go the extra mile to make certain that you are satisfied. The atmosphere is warm and quaint which leaves one feeling very relaxed and comfortable. Be sure to dine in this restaurant, you'll be glad you did!”

“Been a fan of Riley and Jake’s for Years! This week I made reservations for a group of 15 ladies. Arrival times varied from 5.30-6:30 and departure times varied too. Our server, Anna took it all in stride. She was friendly and very efficient. Appreciated her cheerfulness and patience. Food was delicious and the cocktails, I’m told were refreshing. “I’m really not sure what took me so long to get here, but I’m upset now that it did! This was a phenomenal experience. As soon as we walked in, we knew we were going to enjoy it. The vibe is so good, and they’ve done such a good job making this a cute and cozy space inside of a historical building. Their seasonal drink menu was excellent, which is what we ordered from. And the sweet and savory treats they had were to die for. We got a scone and a homemade oatmeal cream pie. Both excellent! We had our drinks and relaxed for a while. Service was fast and friendly! Just great overall experience. We will definitely be back soon!”

“The staff are all kind, helpful, accommodating, and genuinely there to make your evening perfect. Chris the hostess was wonderful, as well as the many servers who all willingly supported Gary, the owner, to provide the best service and culinary experience possible for his dinner guests. The menu is one of the best we have seen in the area with many international dishes, some with the labor intensive Indian nuances, and others just with downright phenomenal flavors. Although they have lots of standard fare for the UNadventurous eater, I would suggest you reach past your comfort zone and try some of the appetizers that jump out as potential winners...like the tuna tartare that with just a splash of Japanese Rice wine vinegar would be one of the best I have ever had, as well as the grilled Tandoori shrimp that is marinated in yogurt, ginger, cloves nutmeg, and dried mango; the grilled lamp chops that come with three perfectly grilled meaty garlicky chops that come with mango chutney, and the Haryali chicken Tikka- three huge plump boneless breast of chicken slices that are marinated in mint, yogurt, roasted cloves, green cardamom and star anise, and served with their famous tiger sauce and salsa. We also shared another marinated shredded beef dish special that had three beef croquette-shaped mounds that had such a umami of flavors I can't even replicate it in this review, but we thought it was just great. I would be remiss if I did not mention the creamy, silky crème brûlée that we enjoyed with a glass of Prosecco; a perfect encore to the phenomenal culinary treat we had just experienced with the appetizer medley. Sharing many apps is more fun we think, than committing to one big entree, so we suggest that you dash over to the Pittstown Inn TONIGHT, and tell them Debbie and Gene sent you....ask to meet Gary, the owner, who elegantly floats from table to table, touching each to greet them and to check later on as well to see if everything was to their liking. A true host from days gone by, this owner is the real deal whose passion for the hospitality business emulates from his constant smile from the joy he is getting from making his guests happy. You see that what fuels this man to keep opening his doors from year to year, despite the many hardships and setbacks life has dealt us all over and over, is his love for you, his loyal customer. He is a rare find, so I suggest you go and treat yourself to the real deal in dining. You will not be disappointed, and be sure to ask to meet Gary. He will make your visit complete. Kudos the phenomenal chefs I met as well, for their expertise and genuine ingenuity in designing a menu to please everyone. Can you tell we LOVE this place??????????”

“I just completed a bread baking course with Nina, and I’m absolutely blown away by everything I learned. She’s a true expert, with a wealth of knowledge on sourcing grains, and her techniques were incredible. The bread she makes is hands down the best I’ve had in New Jersey, it's the closest to the European-style bread I’m used to. The cheese tasting and selection of meats and dairy were fantastic too. I highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in artisan baking or quality, authentic food!”
