About Thai at the Palace

Thai at the Palace is a family-run restaurant located in a converted old ice cream shop. The owners are passionate about serving authentic Thai cuisine with spot-on flavors and a fair balance of spice levels. The atmosphere is unique, with each corner telling a story, including hints of the building's history as a historic candy shop. The staff is lovely, enthusiastic, and dedicated to providing an exceptional dining experience. Vegetarian options are available, and take-out orders are efficiently handled with accurate wait times, typically ranging from 30 to 60 minutes depending on how many orders are ahead. The restaurant is popular for good reason, with dishes like drunken noodles and curry being particularly delicious. Many customers praise the food, especially the massaman curry, which is considered the best they’ve ever had. The spice levels are notably high, and the restaurant is known for authentic Thai spice, which can be quite strong and sometimes too spicy for some diners. The Chicken Satay, Pad Thai, and Penang Curry have also received great reviews. While the interior feels outdated and quite dark, the cozy and historic ambiance adds charm. Kat, a member of the staff, is known for her attentive service and care for every detail. Overall, Thai at the Palace offers consistent, fantastic food, friendly service, and a memorable atmosphere, making it a must-visit destination for lovers of authentic Thai cuisine.

I have gotten take out now twice, Kat the owner is just so nice and personable you’ll find yourself having a great conversation. I’ve tried so many things from here the green curry, red curry, pineapple fried rice, chicken satay, tom yum soup, and pad Thai. You can get anything it’s all amazing I would have added pictures but we ate it all :)

I love this place. I go often and always get the lard na. Cat and Jeanie are the best!

We were only able to order takeout because the place is reservation-only. The owner, Kat, is very friendly and sweet. She described the philosophy driving the restaurant as a cozy place where the limited amount of tables shouldn’t burden the customer experience, hence their reservation...read full review
