We've lived in AP for over 6 years. When we first moved here, this place was truly a Biergarten. Authentic German food, a full menu of German and European beers on tap. And the burger, if you know, you know, it was PERFECT. Then COVID hit, and I'm not sure if management changed or something, but it started going downhill when they replaced this beautiful old map with a mural of a girl drinking beer. Great food, good live music, good beer selection, though it is expensive and portions are getting smaller. Roof has a great view as well but worse food.

However, the place is horribly inconsistent, often closed without notice, has an outdated website and information all over. Very large chance it will just be closed for an event when you show up, I can't count how many times I've had to change my plans because of this, weekends and weekdays.

Chris the bouncer provided great service. He was strict with the ID’s but was extremely friendly all around once we got in. When leaving, Chris made some of the funniest jokes we’ve ever heard! 15/10 employee!
