not stylish, and like all things sophisticated, worth traveling for and often, waiting for. I will say though, if you go late it may be quiet enough to see the shop in a special and nuanced glow.
And yes, there is something about a remarkable cafe that just epitomizes it…. The connection to where the flavor comes from. Bean to mug, farm to table, and although the beans drift through the air and over oceans, if the culture of storytelling hits just right, you can get more than a cup of coffee at the right place.”

“If you're cruising through Uptown Asbury Park you must stop by here. Booskerdoo isn’t just your standard pitstop for caffeine; this is their main roasting mothership, and you can see (and smell when roasting) the serious business the second you walk up to the door.
Let's talk about that liquid gold. I ordered a hot latte with whole milk, finished off with a quick dusting of cinnamon over the foam. One sip and I was hooked, we’re talking a rich, velvety microfoam floating over espresso so balanced it could walk a tightrope. Naturally, because I never meet a light roast I don't like, I got a cup of their Guatemalan El Panal to go. Bright, clean, and really smooth. It’s proof these folks know exactly what they’re doing with a coffee bean. (I hope to get there some day in my micro roaster at home. lol).
Now, I didn't initially plan on grabbing a bite, but the pastry case is a complete trap. While those peanut butter and jelly bars almost lured me in, I ended up pairing my latte with a fresh cranberry scone.
It was a match made in coffee heaven. Flaky, tender, delightfully buttery, and studded with cranberries, it’s the exact kind of pastry that turns a quick coffee run into a full-blown Sit back and relax) lingering experience.
The real showstopper inside, though, is the giant Diedrich roaster sitting right out on the floor alongside literal pallets of green coffee beans. You see Booskerdoo beans popping up at spots all over the Jersey Shore, so seeing the actual industrial engine where the magic happens is really cool. My only minor tragedy of the day? The roaster wasn't firing while I was there. I would’ve loved to hear that machine humming and soak in the full aroma of fresh-roasting beans, but hey, that just gives me an excuse to come back tomorrow.”

As I deliberated on which bowl I should get - their specialty mango or nutella bowl - a staff member suggested I get a combination bowl with whey protein. Coming from an intense workout, this bowl was absolutely choice. It was refreshing and made with love.
Be sure to come here for breakfast after your next workout. Try the half-Mango Glow Bowl/half-Nutella Bowl, or try the delicious Purple Mermaid Smoothie. Or trust whatever their staff recommends - it could be your next favorite.”

“While visiting family in New Jersey, I decided to check out Asbury Park Roastery on a Sunday morning and was thoroughly impressed.
As I pulled up, I could see someone in the attached roastery next door working on a fresh batch of coffee beans. Inside, the shop has a fantastic selection of retail items including bagged teas, fresh coffee, Chemex pour overs, AeroPresses, and even a sleek vacuum sealing coffee container that I am strongly considering purchasing. They also have a few neat branded shirts on display along the wall.
The seating area is very comfortable with roughly 15 tables that accommodate anywhere from two to four people, along with soft lounge chairs and end tables. It proved to be a wonderful spot to sit back, listen to the background music, and do some weekly planning. I also noticed they had beach style chairs you could take outside to enjoy the lovely weather, however it was drizzling a bit when I arrived so I opted for the comfy leather chair inside.
I ordered a latte and was thrilled that they served it in a real mug upon request. The coffee used in the drink had a darker roast profile with a bit more bitterness than my usual preference, but it was still delicious and clearly high quality.
To go with my drink, I picked a fresh cranberry scone from their display of pastry options. The scone was fantastic and paired perfectly with the warm drink. I always appreciate a coffee shop that roasts its own beans in house, and seeing the operation in action made the visit even better. This is definitely a wonderful place to relax and enjoy fresh roasted coffee”

My husband likes all his food moist with sauce so we got some gravy from the chicken in sauce and it was so good. Good amount of heat in the sauce and the meat was fresh and not tough. The rice was fluffy and light and the plantains were a perfect match to the meat.We also got 2 chicken patties and 2 beef patties and they were ok. The meat to pastry ratio is off so you end up eating more pastry than meat which is disappointing. The meat had great flavor but they should make it smaller so the meat stands out more. The dough was buttery and flaky and had a good bite.Overall, it was a good experience. The customer service was a bit dry but polite.I would definitely go back to try more things and would recommend this spot for authentic Haitian food.”

“I just had the best Cheeseburger that ever had at the Bond Street Bar and Grill that is tucked away and almost hidden on 208 Bond Street in Asbury Park, NJ. The It is a small bar and grill with a dark almost mystical ambiance on a small one-way street. The bar has a warm and welcoming personality featuring great food, good vibes, friendly staff all in an inviting space of a classic pub atmosphere.”

“So excited being their first customer! Right from the door, it was a welcoming vibe. The two young ladies were personable, friendly and very welcoming. The restaurant looked great. It was vibrant and colorful. I like the transparency where you can see what's happening.
Now, I only discovered Wonder a couple of weeks ago and really like this concept. I was very pleased with my food. It tasted great and was made as I requested. I had a chance to speak with the manager who was very nice and I feel this will be a great location. I'm looking forward to coming again. Well wishes towards team Ocean Township!”

“I had the pleasure of ordering the Refresher drink on a super hot day recently and I have to say it was amazing and delicious. I walked on the boardwalk while I drank it and it kept me hydrated on that very hot summer day. The staff were all so pleasant even under the extreme heat conditions. There was a very large line of people waiting to order but the line moved along quickly. It also speaks volumes about this establishment in that many people were anxiously waiting to order a drink. You won't be disappointed with any drink you order from here! Come visit Offshore on the Asbury Park Boardwalk!”

“Our go to for Cuban food. Servings are always generous, the food is fresh, hot and tasty. Everyone is very friendly and the prices are reasonable.
We can often get really good Cuban sandwiches here, so we went there today, on National Cuban Sandwich Day. Today’s sandwich was tasty, but it needed more time in the “plancha” (metal griddle) for it to be more melty/toasty. The maduros, however, were outstanding!! So delicious!”

I truly appreciate the thought that went in to create these dishes. Most restaurants don’t put much thought into offerings for people with dietary restrictions. There was something for everyone in our party. Every dish is thoughtfully crafted with an amazing flavor profile and presentation. We all loved each dish including dessert. Jules was our delightful server who was attentive, professional and great at her job.”
