“I searched for a restaurant in Asbury that offered vegan, gluten free options and came across Reyla’s. I’m so happy I found this gem! I truly appreciate the thought that went in to create these dishes. Most restaurants don’t put much thought into offerings for people with dietary restrictions. There was something for everyone in our party. Every dish is thoughtfully crafted with an amazing flavor profile and presentation. We all loved each dish including dessert. Jules was our delightful server who was attentive, professional and great at her job.”
“The food was great, the atmosphere was excellent. Next time I'm back east, I'll be eating here again.”

“This was my first time trying Korean food and I was not disappointed. It was worth every dollar, and I cannot wait to come back here.t The bulgingi bowl was so flavorful and they kept bringing out more and more food for us to try. The man cooking the food was so nice and the prices were very reasonable for the amount of food. I highly recommend anyone looking to try something new for lunch/dinner to do this, or trying to not spend too much while in Asbury. Will be going back again!”
“I have been going to Ada’s for probably close to a decade if not longer. I am familiar with Ethiopian cuisine and she truly delivers every time. While I can’t speak to the other cuisines I have learned over time that her heart is in every dish. The doro wot is top! (Well it all is). The AP location is lovely. I can’t wait to go back, and that is coming from a Californian.”

“During our short stay in the area, we chose to dine here as it was one of the few restaurants open on a Monday. We had an excellent meal, with starter and main course which were delicious. The staff were friendly, helpful and very caring towards my elderly mother. Thank you in particular to Adam for his help with organising the taxi for us .”

“We reserved an igloo which was cool, we had a reservation for a few people but it ended up being just the 2 of us, and it was very cool, the igloo is heated, still bring warm shoes and a sweater, and the food was good.
We ordered an The arugula and prosciutto pizza (could have been cooked for a few more min) and the meatballs, both delicious.
We brought our own premixed cocktails as it's BYOB.
There were quite a few health forward options on the menu, but the pizza was a winner”
“Great drinks and atmosphere! The food is always amazing! Consistently delicious. The service is wonderful from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave.”

“R Bar in Asbury Park is a standout destination that masterfully transports the soul of New Orleans to the Jersey Shore. The Crab Beignets with Creole remoulade are incredible for an appetizer. We had the crawfish pasta for dinner and that was just as delicious.
For dessert we had the Beignets and the strawberry churro cake. They were both great choices and a perfect way to end the meal.
Afterwards we stayed around for a couple drinks because the atmosphere is very welcoming.
While we were there, we got to me 3 of the owners. Casey, Kelly and Lindsey were all so nice and so willing to talk with us. Plus our waitress, Kieura, was so nice, friendly and gave us great recommendations.
I say all that to say, R Bar is a place you need to try. We will definitely be back again, and again!”
“I can’t say enough about how good the service is and how well prepared the food was. When I tell you my family was very happy with their meals especially my 4 year old, who loved the veggie patty and rice and peas. Let’s not even talk about the fresh made juices. I can’t tell you how satisfying the ginger beer was on this hot day. You definitely get your money worth when eating from here.”
“I rarely, if ever, will spend money at an Italian joint— mostly bc I think I can cook better food at home and don’t feel like dishing out $100 for a mediocre meal.
This isn’t that. This is a neighborhood place that pumps out tight, legitimately great food. Nothing fancy, nothing expensive— just solid, homemade tasting Italian food.
5/5, I gladly recommend. And it’s BYOB.”

“Have been in a number of times to eat but recently placed a catering order for a birthday party. The owner, Tom, gave me perfect recommendations for how much to order for the number of guests and made ordering, paying + pickup beyond easy (including some extras like rolls, sauces and pickled onions). The food was the talk of the party!! People couldn't stop going back for more and asking where it came from. Will definitely be back again and again!”
“While we were too early to try anything off the menu, I wanted to thank this business for opening their doors (and bathroom!) to the people at the Pride Parade. The gentleman at the counter was sunny and kind and let everyone in. Most other businesses did not. We already have this place earmarked for our dinner after our next beach day. Thank you for being excellent humans.”
“I had the pleasure to have catering services from Rosa's Kitchen for my retirement/60th birthday back in June 2023. We always want to share our Puertorican cuisine to our guests when we have special events at home. We had "arroz con gandules, pollo guisado, ensalada de papa" among other selections. Our guests were so impressed and satisfied with the texture and the flavor of our Puertorican cuisine thanks to your service. We definitely recommend Rosa's Kitchen for catering services. Muchas gracias.”
“Dinner comes with salad. Chose ceasar dressing...excellent. bread arrived piping hot and fresh. Had both butter and oil to choose. Ordered crab cake appetizer. Large and lotsa crab. Only filler to keep together. Main course chicken and veal. Very tasty and generous size. Will return.”
“The service is always wonderful and gets better every time. I order the wings and they are crispy, the fries even better. The workers are helpful and meet every need.”
“This was a soul quenching phenomena. Mike told me he got in around noon. A gem of a barista, people like him are an enormous part of the reason this culture and vibe are so revered.
Specialty coffee is anything if
not stylish, and like all things sophisticated, worth traveling for and often, waiting for. I will say though, if you go late it may be quiet enough to see the shop in a special and nuanced glow.
And yes, there is something about a remarkable cafe that just epitomizes it…. The connection to where the flavor comes from. Bean to mug, farm to table, and although the beans drift through the air and over oceans, if the culture of storytelling hits just right, you can get more than a cup of coffee at the right place.”

“Food was good but the bread was not! There’s plenty of good Italian bread nearby in Staten Island and bklyn! Get some real bread there”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“There are two outstanding things about this establishment: (1) the staff and (2) the food. The staff members (who I think are under new management) were so sweet and accommodating with questions. As I deliberated on which bowl I should get - their specialty mango or nutella bowl - a staff member suggested I get a combination bowl with whey protein. Coming from an intense workout, this bowl was absolutely choice. It was refreshing and made with love.
Be sure to come here for breakfast after your next workout. Try the half-Mango Glow Bowl/half-Nutella Bowl, or try the delicious Purple Mermaid Smoothie. Or trust whatever their staff recommends - it could be your next favorite.”
“Any visit to Asbury park should include this funky little area known as North End Eats. It's a collection of very unique food trucks that have something for everyone. My favorite is the customizable ice cream sandwich truck AND if you go Friday evenings through the summer there is an amazingly talented jazz trio performing between 6 and 9pm.”
“I was born and raised in Asbury Park and this is a staple in the community, some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. I went off to college in Texas and I brag to everyone about how we have the best fried chicken spot. Can’t wait to come home and swing by. Also to the people complaining about the people being outside and how it’s “sketchy”....it’s literally Asbury Park, what are you expecting?? Go somewhere else if you have a problem and stop giving them low reviews.”
“Laid back, excellent service. Amazing cocktails...Jalisco is burning--try it. And creative, delicious food.”

“We visited the juice Basin on a trip to Asbury Park. The smoothies were amazing, service was friendly and helpful. It was a hot day and a long walk to get there. Was able to stay as long as we wanted too, to cool down. Very Much appreciated!!! It was a long walk from the beach, but was worth the trip.”
“I ordered a Spinach and Cheese omelette and it was delicious! I work at the business right next to MacroBites and they were kind enough to bring me my order when it was ready. Potatoes were amazing and the hot sauce was 10/10.
Definitely a place everyone should try out! Thanks!”
“The beach deli has the best Philly cheesesteaks I've had anywhere in Philadelphia or New Jersey, the owner is cool as hell, and this Bodega has that amazing tasting food that you just can't get on main Street. It's like the bodega culture with the amazing tasting food that I haven't had since I live downtown in Manhattan on 1st avenue. It's a must try, the best is the Philly cheesesteaks and peppers onions cheese and BAAAM TASTE & they're buffalo chicken sandwich as well both to die for! ?? ?!!!Hit New Jersey shore? This place is sick! Must try!!”
“Stopped in for lunch and they had a good selection of choices to pick from. I got the griot with sweet plantain and rice and peas. My husband likes all his food moist with sauce so we got some gravy from the chicken in sauce and it was so good. Good amount of heat in the sauce and the meat was fresh and not tough. The rice was fluffy and light and the plantains were a perfect match to the meat.We also got 2 chicken patties and 2 beef patties and they were ok. The meat to pastry ratio is off so you end up eating more pastry than meat which is disappointing. The meat had great flavor but they should make it smaller so the meat stands out more. The dough was buttery and flaky and had a good bite.Overall, it was a good experience. The customer service was a bit dry but polite.I would definitely go back to try more things and would recommend this spot for authentic Haitian food.”
“Naya at Ralph's in Asbury Boardwalk is wonderful. I have brought my special needs camp there for the last 2 years and she has been patient and kind to everyone in our group. It will be an annual trip for us after the Silverball Museum from now on. Congratulations on running a great business. Five stars”
“Consistently ok Chinese. I've tested them on several items since I moved here recently and it's consistently ok, which is good enough for quick and very local takeout. There is no atmosphere to speak of, and walking in the store is extraordinarily uncomfortable sometimes with the amount of dodgy people who stand in front of the place but I've never had a problem so far and the woman who works there has been very nice.”
“Everything was wonderful---the service, food, the ambience. Highly recommend you check out Homesick for a great experience.”
“Went there for the first time tonight for my wife and son's birthday. The food and drinks were excellent and the service was great. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely go back!”
“The Asbury Park Blonde is hands down one of the best beers in the world. It should be entered into all of the European Brewery contests immediately.”
“So hard To find whole belly Clams in NJ. They were unbelievable! Everything else equally delicious can’t wait to come back! Staff was friendly and again, amazing and reasonably priced.”
“Had my wedding here in March and the experience was amazing! The food the venue the service and the team were all great!”
“Great restaurant, amazing sushi. Specialty rolls are better than any other restaurant in Asbury or the surrounding areas.”
“The 5'4 coat check guy with the bad haircut has a Napoleon complex (don't lose your ticket and respectfully ask for help otherwise he just might cry and try to fight you) but this place is still the best around.”

“I just had the best Cheeseburger that ever had at the Bond Street Bar and Grill that is tucked away and almost hidden on 208 Bond Street in Asbury Park, NJ. The It is a small bar and grill with a dark almost mystical ambiance on a small one-way street. The bar has a warm and welcoming personality featuring great food, good vibes, friendly staff all in an inviting space of a classic pub atmosphere.”

“My friend groups loves coming here! The decor is so fun with trinkets and quotes all over the walls. You are bound to find something new every time you go. There are a few areas that you can hang out in - the chill outdoor patio, the indoor tent where you can enjoy the music, and the indoor bar area where a lot of the action is so you can really hang out based on your mood. The free pizza ticket with every drink is the cherry on top. The line can be quite long but it does move fast and will be worth it in the end!”

“Went during a concert. They could have easily given really disappointing food for a premium price at a venue where they have a captive audience, but I was very happy with the quality of the food they serviced us. It wasn't cheap but wasn't expensive either. Food tasted great and was made to order!”

“Goldrush has become my favorite neighborhood spot! For coffee, an amazing cookie / pastry or a friendly face. The staff is amazing, the location is warm and welcoming. The perfect spot to pop in with a friend or hang solo to get a little work done. 10/10 recommend!”
“Absolutely love what Makana’s has brought to Asbury Park! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a burst of fresh, inviting aromas and a smile from the friendly staff. I tried their signature Philly Wrap and the Ube latte, both of which were out of this world!”
“As frequent visitors to Asbury Park, we’ve tried most of the coffee spots in the area, and Offshore Coffee is definitely our #1. The staff is always friendly, and the coffee is absolutely delicious. It’s the perfect stop if you’re strolling along the Asbury Park Boardwalk—grab a seat, enjoy your brew, and take in the ocean view. Highly recommended—you won’t be disappointed! The only suggestion I have is to add some gluten free snack options.”
“Latin Diner in Asbury Park is a great spot if you’re looking for something a little different each time you visit. One of the best things about this place is the revolving menu, with different options offered each day. It keeps things fresh and exciting, and there’s always something new to try.
The food is flavorful and feels thoughtfully prepared, with a variety of Latin-inspired dishes that highlight bold, comforting flavors. Because the menu changes, it’s the kind of place that rewards repeat visits.
The space itself is on the smaller side, with limited indoor seating, which gives it a cozy, casual feel. When the weather is nice, the outdoor seating is a great option and makes for a really enjoyable, laid-back dining experience.
If you’re in Asbury Park and want a casual spot with a rotating menu and great flavors, Latin Diner is definitely worth checking out.”
“Went to the Boardwalk Boggie party at Low Dive on Sunday. Absolutely had the best time time I’ve ever had n Asbury Park . The crowd was really fun everyone was there to have a good time . Super super fun and the cocktails were well made . Run don’t walk to Low Dive . If you are fortunate enough to be around on a Sunday night do not miss Boardwalk Boogie it’s a real good time !”
