Mark's Place & Restaurant Reviews
I can’t say enough about how good the service is and how well prepared the food was. When I tell you my family was very happy with their meals especially my 4 year old, who loved the veggie patty and rice and peas. Let’s not even talk about the fresh made juices. I can’t tell you how satisfying the ginger beer was on this hot day. You definitely get your money worth when eating from here.
I’ll always recommend the oxtails w/ rice and cabbage. My next go to was the jerk chicken, but then I tried the stew chicken. There is so much more I want to try. Love this restaurant. Paula is phenomenal at what she does.💕 Rose, keep up all you do, the world needs people like you.❤️. It’s a 10 for me.

Mark's Place & Restaurant offers Jamaican and Caribbean cuisine with standout dishes like curry chicken and stew chicken. The owner, Paula, is known for her great service, complimentary sides, and community involvement during holidays. Recently, customers have praised the restaurant for its flavorful and tender oxtail and jerk chicken, which are described as "just out of this world" and "incredibly good." The Mac and cheese is often called divine, and the sorrel drink is also highly recommended. The restaurant provides large portions, including rice and beans, plantains, and cabbage, all prepared top notch. The place is very clean and tidy, with great customer service. Many visitors suggest making a point to visit and try the food, especially noting the jerk and curry plates. Catering options and holiday meals are available, with some customers even ordering jerk turkey for special occasions. While the owner, Paula, is appreciated for her service, there have been reports of previously disappointing oxtail meals with lacking flavor and boxed-tasting rice, but recent reviews indicate significant improvement. Overall, Mark's Place & Restaurant is highly recommended for authentic Jamaican and Caribbean dishes and a welcoming atmosphere.
