I frequently visit Taka as the sushi is always on point. On this occasion, busy Saturday evening around 5:30, I prefer the bar area. The dining area is pleasant as well. I would make a reservations if you’re planning to dine during the popular times 5:30 pm and to maybe 8 pm. Bar area is first come first serve . I went with my boyfriend for our Valentine's Day dinner and we loved it!! The drinks were good and so was the food. He got the Umai Tai and I got the Green Tea Martini and Blackberry Margarita. I really liked both of my drinks but liked the blackberry margarita more. I plan to get it next time. As for food, we got the gyoza and crispy spicy tuna as appetizers. The gyoza was great as usual. Nice dinner with family here tonight. Decided to get a hot meal instead of sushi and the Fish and Chips was off the charts. Super fresh, delicate and delicious, the fries were very good also. Shishito pepper app was amazing too. Very happy with the experience!
