“I am a Gringo, but kind of an expert with Mexican Food. And my Spouse is from Mexico.

We ate here today, Monday, 10/14/24, around 4:00 p.m., it was our first visit.
The food was awesome!
We each had Enchiladas De Mole Oaxaqueño con Pollo ( Chicken ) comes with rice and beans on the side.
The chicken was tender,the Mexican rice was fresh and excellent, the beans were good. The side of Salsa Picante ordered specially, was great on the rice. The most delicious item was the Mole Oaxaquena; dark, rich, and with some spice!!! Also had a side of Guacamole that was fresh and very good! Orchata was good.
The tortillas are handmade! Prices were very fair and the place is BYOB. I would recommend this establishment for an authentic Mexican meal!!! Most Especially…..the Mole Oaxaquena!!!
Atmosphere and Decor was okay. The servers were friendly and efficient!
As with most places, bathroom could have been a little cleaner.”

“Terrific, store made ice cream. Many flavors of ice cream including soft, hard, vegan, sugar free and gelato. A fun place to go. Great parking and several outdoor picnic tables.”

“Been going here for years. Me and my wife's go to breakfast spot. Food comes out fast and fresh. She always has the chilaquiles and I always have the western omelet. Same great attentive staff for years and even the cook will greet us when we get in. You won't be disappointed.”

“We just had my daughter’s bridal shower there and everything was perfect. We chose the lunch buffet and the food was delicious. There was so much included and it was priced very reasonably. The room upstairs was very spacious for our group of 40 people. It was nice to have our own bathroom and bar. The servers were friendly and attentive and also very helpful. Thank you for making the day run so smoothly. It was perfect!!”

“I can't say enough good things about this place. First of all, the ice cream is homemade. I had a sundae made with 3 flavors of ice cream: tequila, coconut, and cheese (queso blanco). They have unique offerings (elote) and very creative concoctions (fruit with spicy chips). The owners were extremely friendly, gave us multiple samples without us even asking, and offered recommendations. The store was very clean and they were masked the whole time. The prices were reasonable and the quality was outstanding. I will happily return and probably make special trips to Bradley Beach just to visit this beautiful family-owned store again. Me encanta este lugar. Primero, todos los helados son hecho en casa. Tuve un sundae con 3 sabores de helado: tequila, coco, y queso blanco. Se tenga ofrendas únicas (elote) y concociones creativos (fruta con chips picantes). Los propietarios fueron extremadamente amables, nos dieron varias muestras sin siquiera pedirnos y nos ofrecieron recomendaciones. La tienda estaba muy limpia y estaban enmascarados todo el tiempo. Los precios eran razonables y la calidad excepcional. Volveré felizmente y probablemente hacer viajes en particular a Bradley Beach sólo para visitar esta hermosa tienda familiar otra vez.”

“Phenomenal. Honestly, truthfully, some of the BEST white rice I’ve ever had from a Chinese food restaurant. And arguably some of the BEST sesame chicken I’ve ever had from a Chinese food restaurant. AND… it’s so inexpensive for such large portions. 2 big meals and leftovers for tomorrow for $25!”

“As soon as you enter the Bamboo Leaf you are immersed into a beautiful atmosphere with soft lighting, encompassed with the most incredible aromatics. You immediately have a sense of family upon entering. The staff is always so kind, friendly and courteous. The food is exceptional and undoubtedly, hands down the best I've ever had. Their curry varieties (I've had them all!), soups, and noodles have a flavor and quality that just cannot be matched by any other Thai restaurant I've eaten at. The freshness of their vegetables & the richness of their broths and sauces really make this eatery stand out. I moved here 10 yrs ago from Philly and this place is still and will always be my favorite restaurant!
